Hey @Greg, how did you cut height in half on the last patch of this map? I'm trying to do it again since I still have problems placing roads to connect different hexagons, but I'm getting nowhere :(

@jediron, those images show things like elevation, water, and resource density. I think. It's been a really long time since I've played this game or made maps for it.

Can you explain why you have 4 different images? I want to start make my own maps and want to use yours for practice.

@CanadianBacon, I think this is just a manifestation of the *issue* where C:S will add land-mass if you build a road sitting on the surface (put a road directly on land, not elevated, right next to the edge of a cliff and you'll see what I mean) and that movement temporarily disrupts the water next to that landmass.

Sorry for the late reply, The land has fixed itself when I loaded today but I managed to get some pics with the remaining water.

Could you enlighten me as what size the higtmap has to be to work?, i can find how to import one, but not the actual size it needs to be to work in the mapsize given

@Ham, wait what?
Hisoki 8 Apr, 2015 @ 7:07pm
Happened to notice an issue with borders of the tiles at the start with the new update in that they are made of pillars filled with water. Ignored it as it wasn't an issue until I built a road that leveled them and then I found the water. :)

Glad you love it, Ham!

Since I started using this map I haven't stopped. It's so much more fun to myself using these map types than some plains with a river or two peaks to build upon. The ability to organize much more cleanly as well is a great benefit. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more.

@Dave, no all of my maps are made in Photoshop as heightmaps and then imported and fine-tuned in the map editor.

Did you use a third party modelling tool to make the hexagons?

I haven't played that game in so long. This map looks pretty nice though.
