After Dark is ignoring the sun tint, brightness and saturation changes for noon, yet. At midday my city is recieving the same yellow light from sunrise and sunset.
They should learn from you, @rmbackslash.
However I would like very much to have the East/West Offset option back. My city was more beautiful during the day with this mod than now with After Dark. With this mod I got a perfect sun position and animation to my city before AD.
E/W Offset: 150
MaxElevation: 82
MaxIntensity: 3.7
Great times...
;D
it was definitely worth it .
It was in part thanks to this talented mod creator (along with a few others) that we finally got an official day/night cycle in the first place. Thank you once again for all your hard work, and look forward to seeing anything new you make if you choose to do so!
Just don't waste your talent. :)
@quasar That's just awful advice. Modding obviously comes with a risk of screwing up your game, and sometimes even your computer. But in my experience, all the hundreds (sometimes thousands) of hours of enjoyment it adds to a game are WELL worth the risk of a little experimentation. Especially when it comes to popular mods that have had plenty of testing and work perfectly for most people like this one -- if you've messed something up that badly, it was almost certainly due to your own personal error. Proper modding takes care, testing, and READING.
My greatest experiences in gaming in the last 15+ years has been all thanks to modding. I consider games with great modding possibilities to be a waste of time if you DON'T take full advantage of it. All good things in life come with a least a bit of risk. To reap the rewards, you gotta live a little. :)
my shadows flicker when I use this mod. is this normal?
That because the sun is moving to fast. Change the timecycle, the longer the less flickering. Also if you use Ambient Illusion this will worsen things.
With the 'Night light mod + cycle' it's not so comfortable to get the morning immediately after the sun went down...
