I'm using Maya Lt which is the most intuitive 3d software I have used, prior to that I had only very limited experience at college with 3ds Max. I have watched a few tutorials to set me on my way.
I may try to make a Japanese magnolia next so ill definatly take note of your advice, but its going to be a bit before I add anything else as I have spent the last few weeks just modelling things... I need to actually play the game again!

Also I noticed you used just a pink flower shape for the flower, maybe next time crop a real flower texture and use those instead to give your tree more depth. I'm not trying to bash your tree, I think it's good actually. Just trying to give some friendly advice to improve your future work! :)
