It doesnt create the modconfig file, i checked that I enabled the mod, restarted the game and loaded a save, seached my entire C drive but there was no modconfig file so i assume that a C:SL update broke the way this works

Не работает.

@aubergine18: You can configure the mod to use your screenshots folder (or any folder). Please refer to the README [github.com].

would be cool if it could pull from screenshots folder

@GordonDry: It can probably be changed with code, but I have not looked into that.

Is the "darkening" of the pictures hardcoded in game?
Or could it be changed by the mod?
GordonDry 24 Apr, 2015 @ 10:40am
Hmmm - I don't like that the pictures are darker than they normally are.

@GordonDry: This is exactly the way I have been investigating, already a few weeks ago when writing Flirper . Back then, it was very out of my reach, but I have learned quite a bit while developing ChangeLoadingImage.

I will work on this more in the coming days, if there aren't any mayor issues being reported for this release version.
GordonDry 24 Apr, 2015 @ 9:50am
And one more, the screenshot should be without UI.
GordonDry 24 Apr, 2015 @ 9:49am
Forgot to mention, this special folder should be processed differently, not by random, only the pic belonging to the loaded savegame should be shown of course.
GordonDry 24 Apr, 2015 @ 9:47am
Okay it works but really blurry....

I have an idea - would it be possible to include a function when saving a game, after the game-internal "screenshotting-resizing-embedding" the mod creates an additional screenshot in native resolution and saves it into a custom folder like ..\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\ModConfig\ChangeLoadingImage with the same name as the savegame and this folder is default when the mod is installed?
There could also be a routine that deletes screenshots of no more existing savegames that is called when the game is launched AND only once a day.

@GordonDry: Let me know how it goes. I think this is one of the best features of this mod, but sadly also the worst looking (because the preview images the game saves are of low resolution).

If it wasn't obvious from the documentation, you will need to have loaded a game at least once to make the mod auto-generate the default list. You can also create a file yourself, but I find it easier to let the mod do it first time.

Thank you - I will test with CURRENTSAVEGAME first, see how it looks like...
