I would argue this is not obsolete. Keen don't do the hangar doors for small ship.

Smaller versions are still worth it.

This has been obsoleted with Keen including doors themselves now.

So, the texture for the door portion of the door is pink and it doesn't read as open or closed any more.

this fixes that :D

It always confuses me as to why keen has working air vents for small ships but no airtight doors.

Would like to be able to use it as a much LARGER door. Even as a seperate mod.
I have tried to make some of these my self. however doors being hard to mod. i have failed alot.
I did manage to mod it to have the same size as the large block. but thats HUGE for the size of small blocks.

@Kham, Thanks for reminding me. They're on my to-do list. I just need to figure out how to properly load and manipulate the new models. They don't load the same way as the old ones.

Hey Phoenix, not sure if you still check this but is there any chance you may look at updating these models to the new vanilla style? I make use of the double length hangar doors in combo with standar length versions for a few awkward sizes hangars and it looks a little odd with the combination of two different models.

Nice mod for small ships. Would be nice if the sliding door was air tight though and the airtight hanger door is airtight even when open. Broken?

@Phoenix I ran multiple testing scenarios's, Without the airlock attached and with, even just tried it with a multitude of different ships, all to the same effect, without the airtight door attached they ran perfectly fine but with them on they spazzed the large ship out after jumping.

@[LSO] AH-1W Cobra, why do you suspect this mod? The jump drive alone can cause that.

Found a bug with this mod, saw the disclaimer and am just here to report that making a small ship utilizing the small airlocks, while attached to a large ship via landing pads after performing a jump makes the jumpship for what ever reason spazz the fuck out of control

I think the 'no air release' issue may be due to something that happens with the effect, apparently in small ship grids the decompression effect looks massive because it was only made for the large ship grid.

First off, thank for this mod. It is really useful. I was wondering. I've been playing with it and noticed it doesn't seem to allow air to escape, reguardless of whether it is open or closed. Are you aware of this?

uncleste's doors are the ones I use that are 5x5x1. There's another... 'small doors and offset doors' maybe?... that I used to use before ste. I assume these doors aren't airtight when open, though, which uncleste's are :)

yeah 3x5 makes more sense than the 2x5. ill prob keep using the other mod for the regular doors but im loving the small hangar doors they make much more fitting airlock doors, and are great for drone bays

@Nogrim313, I considered 1x5x5, but since I was using the original model, and it stuck out a bit, I went with 3x5x5. I also didn't go with 2x5x5 for centering reasons.

No. I just took the stock model. I'm not sure about the others, but this is 3 blocks deep (the large ship version would have been 5 blocks equivalent).
I didn't recall seeing any that weren't already part of a massive ship pack.
I mainly added it for completion (door set).

this is exactly what i have been looking for. those small airtight hangar doors are just what i have been needing to build a great small drop ship.

although the regular door has been done a few times already though is yours any different?
