Will there be an update for Rising Tide?
[PIGZ]MrTango 21 Jun, 2016 @ 7:31am
:( no rising tide update
Galgus 22 Jan, 2016 @ 11:28pm
Hoping for a Rising Tide update for this.

if you update, could you also make marvels workable? i thought there would be a benefit to colonizing near one, but i just got 3 useless tiles :P
Raynor 9 Sep, 2015 @ 9:37am
what mod does it tho?
Ryika  [author] 9 Sep, 2015 @ 9:27am
@Spartan Jamez: Solution is in the mod description.
@general_james: Don't know of any mod that currently does that.
Raynor 9 Sep, 2015 @ 8:38am
Does this mod or Ice Begone! Add ice under the mountians? I'm subed to these mods and now I have the ice problem?
general_james 7 Sep, 2015 @ 11:02pm
Is there a way or a mod to allow units to pass through or end a turn on a mountain or other "impassable"terrain?
Ryika  [author] 25 Aug, 2015 @ 12:19pm
1.) No, this mod does not allow movement through mountains
2.) The Ai will create the buildings with relatively high priority and will work the tiles if they have yields that it thinks are better than yields on other tiles. It will however not try to get all of the 3 techs for the buildings to get maximum yields, unless it wants to get the techs anyway. (Or in other words: Like most objects that have some synergy, the AI will only make use of them by accident)
Beltalowda 25 Aug, 2015 @ 12:07pm
Sounds pretty awsome. Just two questions

1) Does it allow you to pass through mountain tiles? If so, is there a way to keep them inpassable?

2) Do the AI's also know how to use the mountain yields / buildings?

thanks

i only got 1 other mod "awesome stations". i abon this addon before i started civbe. but anyways this does not work for me. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=496174273
Ryika  [author] 8 Aug, 2015 @ 2:00am
Solution is in the mod description. The very first paragraph. (Well, the second)

If that doesn't help, try disabling all other mods and see if it still happens. German Language Pack shouldn't be a problem (other than the fact that it will still display the English "Mountain" instead of "Gebirge")
Morwo 8 Aug, 2015 @ 1:51am
Below mountains there is ice too, it glitches out on rivers and canyons.

Hi there, like to report a thing about this mod. while playing the german game version, mountains turns to ice in tooltip. and crater are filled with ice. i guess it's just cosmetic.

Xelanthol 22 Jul, 2015 @ 6:33pm
Hm. These should be in the base game!
RaiderRaven 13 Jul, 2015 @ 11:02am
Cool sounds nice i'm might try this out
Ryika  [author] 20 Jun, 2015 @ 5:28am
Thanks for reporting, just uploaded a new version - this should fix the issue. This update will not be compatible with older versions of the mod, so if you have other games running that use this mod finish them first.
GeneralPIG 18 Jun, 2015 @ 11:11am
Had some issues with this mod: clashes with awesomeloadout where it doesnt allow settlers to spawn when chosing the loanshark mod. also clashes with Bylandandsea mod where it prevents resources from being populated in regions other than around the starting zones

Thank You so much :D

Can we have an alternate download link please?
Galgus 29 May, 2015 @ 12:59am
Ah I see, in that case its fine.

I love how this mod allows specializing to use mountains, its the kind of thing I wish there was more of in the tech tree.
Ryika  [author] 28 May, 2015 @ 10:21pm
@Galgus: Oh, I'll need to rephrase that - it's +2 science from the building itself, not "per building" the city has. That would be extremely op, yeah. ^^
@extremedstone: That's a really cool idea, but I'm not sure if it can be done in BE without feeling "forced". (I know whoward did it for Civ 5, but I think he used his dll-magic) I'll look into it as soon as I have the time to do so. :)
@SushiSquid: Well, thanks for your original! Had a lot of fun with it in Civ5.
Galgus 28 May, 2015 @ 4:15pm
The only thing worrying me with this mod is the Research Station's +2 Science per building in the city it is built in, which seems extremely strong.
CYBER 17 May, 2015 @ 11:58pm
Thank you so much! Finally something to do with those pesky mountains!
I have one request though: could you make a 'tunnel' tile improvement so mountains will be crossable? Like: put a worker next to a mountain, click 'build tunnel', select the tile you want the tunnel to be on, and it will finish in 20-30 turns on quick game pace.
Keukotis 13 May, 2015 @ 6:29pm
Oh sweet! Now I don't have to bother making this. I really have been intending to do this for a while, but I've been busy a lot of the time and lazy the rest of the time. Thanks for this!
AeliusGrimm 12 May, 2015 @ 2:40pm
Oh man... well besides appearance modifiers.. I have "Building - The Botanika", "Farms and Generators on Water", "Toheck's Specialist tweaks", "Time victory disabled", and "Institute - National Wonder"
Ryika  [author] 12 May, 2015 @ 1:52pm
And it still shows "ice"? No idea what's the cause for that then, what other mods are you using?
AeliusGrimm 12 May, 2015 @ 12:21pm
I did, and did that the second I got the mod.
Ryika  [author] 12 May, 2015 @ 5:48am
See "IMPORTANT"-paragraph of the description.
AeliusGrimm 12 May, 2015 @ 5:09am
For some reason, games that I have this mod in turn all "Mountain" tiles into "Ice" tiles, meaning that I don't get any resources from the mountain tiles. The buildings still seem to work though, I can build them fine.
Ryika  [author] 10 May, 2015 @ 5:39pm
Should be compatible (didn't test it myself though), but as this re-uses existing icons Colorful Tech Web will show wrong Icon Colors for the new Buildings.
Crimson13 10 May, 2015 @ 4:43pm
I think that this doesn't work with Colorful Tech Web, the mod page of it says that it has issues with mods that add buildings and the like. Is this compatible or is it something else on my end?
Ariatiki 10 May, 2015 @ 2:15pm
Thank you! Looks like a useful mod!
Alkydere 10 May, 2015 @ 9:10am
Glad to see there's still a trickle of good mods appearing here and there!
-AKEVA-BANSHEE- 9 May, 2015 @ 5:55pm
I love this mod idea however it could use some tweaking but take your time. :)
Blueberryies 7 May, 2015 @ 5:00pm
Excellent mod.
Tom 7 May, 2015 @ 7:36am
Welp, here I was thinking I'd be good on mods for a while D: Yet another to add to my already massive list I'm using in game!
Dusk Shadow 7 May, 2015 @ 5:20am
-uses to many (alot of Ryika) Mods- Another one!? and its Good and balanced too! damnit another one for the perma list! -wanders off muttering to self about overmoding horors of oblivion-
