Excellent. Thanks so much for creating this route. I ran from Evercreech to Glastonbury yesterday and it was great fun roaming the countryside again. I will definitely explore it all in time. The stations look quite detailed. We’re they worked from old maps and plans? Anyway, thanks again.

Sparker, I LOVE this... seriously fantastic work... could I ask you a gigantic favour though? Rename the places "Blandford" and Henstridge? Other than those two spelling mistakes you've done a seriously amazing job!!!

Version one of my modified version of the Southern Section "Somerset & Dorset Complete Route (Southern Enhanced)" is now on UKTS. It wouldnt let me upload it to here because of too much reliance on DLC from UKTS as well as steam

Feel free and also feel free make changes on my section to match the other if you wish.

Hello sparker,
I really enjoy this route and I'm making some changes to the core Bath-Templecombe section (more than what I can list in a comment). When I'm done, if I give you credit for the Bournemouth-Templecombe and the Evercreech-Burnham-on-Sea sections may I upload it to the Workshop when I'm done?
sparker  [author] 11 May, 2017 @ 7:26am
I hope so too.
sirgruntbox 11 May, 2017 @ 2:32am
As young boy I rode the Blandford to Bournemouth West on the S & D
As an old man I still long to see it as it was, I'm hope your much awaited add-on
for fills this old mans dreams
sparker  [author] 23 Mar, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Glad you got it sorted. :-)
cjpbailey57 23 Mar, 2017 @ 7:40am
Hi sparker,
I've managed to sort out where I was going wrong!
It seems that it's not possible to start the drive directly from the workshop page for this particular route.
I then found another post asking this exact same question; the answer is to start the scenarios either through standard or free roam.
This I have done and what a FANTASTIC job you've done of the southern part of the S&D!
I've also subscribed to most of your S&D scenarios as well!
Thank you for your hard work, It is certainly very much appreciated by us Train Simmers!
Off for another run from Bournemouth now..................................
sparker  [author] 22 Mar, 2017 @ 4:54pm
I'm not sure what you mean by - To find the link to start the scenario? there are quick drive scenarios in the workshop that I uploaded. Subscribe to them and you will be able to drive any quick drive stock from any where . It may be that you dont have the stock in the free roam scenario. If you give a bit more info maybe one ofthe more tech chaps here can help.
cjpbailey57 22 Mar, 2017 @ 2:34am
Hi sparker,
I hope you can help! I have TS2017.
I've subscribed to this Workshop route extension, which looks to be fantastic; however, when I go to the workshop to find the link to start the scenario, all I get is the 'buy add-ons' link!
The workshop has downloaded the add-on and I've started and re-started TS.
I have both the European assets pack and the Original Steam S&D route installed, but for some reason the 'Drive' button will not highlight, so I'm unable to enjoy driving over the rest of the S&D!
Can you advise as to where I might be going wrong?
sparker  [author] 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:31am
I hope you enjoy the extention. Have fun.
douglasthompson1974 8 Mar, 2017 @ 12:07pm
I have that and the UK assetts, so it's all good.
sparker  [author] 8 Mar, 2017 @ 9:58am
You have to have the Bath Templecombe original route.
douglasthompson1974 6 Mar, 2017 @ 8:32am
Does this route need any extra payware DLCs?
sparker  [author] 24 Feb, 2017 @ 10:17am
The Templecombe reverse works for most engines but it seems to depend on the length of the train.
IC125 24 Feb, 2017 @ 9:02am
Yup...just got 'em. Thanks!
sparker  [author] 24 Feb, 2017 @ 9:01am
Just uploaded a set of quick drive Scenarios that should take take you from Everywhere to Everywhere. As there are manual points just check the route in top view as you go along.
Theanthillmob1989 30 Jan, 2017 @ 12:33pm
Brilliant Thanks Sparker!
hectictea_ 29 Jan, 2017 @ 10:59am
Thank you. Look aout for 2 versions soon!
IC125 29 Jan, 2017 @ 2:51am
How did you get permission to re-upload it? They do answer to posts so do you just ask?
sparker  [author] 29 Jan, 2017 @ 2:48am
As long as you acknowledge the fact when releasing it . I have no objections re my part of the route. As for the original Bath Templecombe section have no idea how this would be viewed by DTG.
hectictea_ 28 Jan, 2017 @ 11:51am
would it be okay if I modernised this route and re-uploaded it modernised?
sparker  [author] 7 Jan, 2017 @ 6:20am
i wish :-)
IC125 6 Jan, 2017 @ 1:34pm
I really love what you hae done, refurbing an old route. Great work. DTG should hire you!
Theanthillmob1989 23 Nov, 2016 @ 10:54am
A brilliant route and a credit to sparker to creating this fantastic extension. I live local to the Southern half and have heavily modified this route to be more acurate in terms of station track layouts, and built up the scenery along the route. here vis a preview of Blandford Forum

All you need is the original bath to templecombe route..sometimes it takes a few restarts before work shop items appear.
NotSwindonRail 13 Oct, 2016 @ 9:31am
it is downlodaing but doesnt show up in routes menu. Also could you list the requirements on your workshop items. thx
davidfroud 22 Sep, 2016 @ 3:32pm
Brilliant route, thank you!

:-)
West Coast Rail 24 Jun, 2016 @ 3:33am
Major, I don't think that can be avoided, it happens on any scenario but if it seems to be happening more on the scenarios, it could be because of the fact it's 68 miles with a lot of AI to cover the route. Also, sparker, this is great. Thanks for creating it!
Major Von Holland 30 Apr, 2016 @ 3:06am
I am getting random crashes to desktop with soe of these scenarios. Very frustrating as its a great route when it works. Other times it crashes to desktop and produces a dump file which I cannot view anyway. Any suggestions?
Not.Silent 28 Apr, 2016 @ 4:31am
You have put all the pieces together now - as the one Somerset & Dorset. Well done.
What a great job. I previously had tried all the pieces of the route, but now in it's entirety. Wow. How great is this. A pity that the SR Bulleid Pacific doesn't seem to be available now for some reason. I have it, so can do a Quickdrive - but no AI. You deserve a medal.
AdrianE531 28 Mar, 2016 @ 12:05pm
cheers :)
davidfroud 22 Mar, 2016 @ 7:55pm

sparker  [author] 9 Mar, 2016 @ 1:34pm
Thank you very kind of tou to say so. Glad you enjoy it.
David 4 Mar, 2016 @ 10:41am
Best route I have ever played in a lifetime! It's also a great extension to the Somerset and Dorset Railway. Well Done!
sparker  [author] 29 Dec, 2015 @ 3:07pm
It is an extention to the origional Bath to templecombe route which is available to purchase on steam . you then download the extention for free and off you go.
AdrianE531 29 Dec, 2015 @ 2:56am
How do i play on this route?
Revarnes 27 Dec, 2015 @ 5:17am
Glad i could help. :steamhappy:
sparker  [author] 27 Dec, 2015 @ 2:28am
Thank you for pointing this out . It appears to have been removed.
Revarnes 25 Dec, 2015 @ 11:21am
Sparker, I found this quite interesting! I can also tell a fact, that someone has made a TOTAL RIPOFF from your work, and perhaps made a slightly Little change to it, publishing it to Workshop, and taking Credits for it.
