I did upload a new version that should fix that, but I'm not sure what the point of using this AI is now it's so outdated. Things have moved on quite a lot since I last worked on this it seems!

CheeseOnToast's fix worked, I had to go through all the mod files at
steamapps > workshop > content > 221380 > 440019408 > resources > _common > ai > logbotfiles
and change whenever it had "logbotfiles/" to "logbotfiles\".

Use the replace in files function in Notepad++ and replace Logbotfiles/ with Logbotfiles\

That's the kind of thing that is obviously asking for trouble but would take hours to actually notice and fix.

Thanks, I'll see if I can remember to fix it tomorrow - something that should only take ~5 mins can't be that hard to get on and do, can it...?

Changing the path from logbotfiles/... to \ fixed it for me, Line -1 refers to a file load error.

You can't use / anymore (I think) try Logbot\filesresourcecount instead.

Life's too busy for me to look at that for the time being. I have no idea what would be causing that error either, which isn't really helpful as I wouldn't know where to start looking.

I'll have to see if I can find the time and inclination to look back at this before too long...

I'm not even sure exactly what has gone on with the most recent patches, what has been broken/fixed and so on. But if it doesn't load at all then that might be easily fixable.

Whenever I try to start a game with logbot AI on it gives me an error "Logbot/filesresourcecount" Line -1. I assume this is an error on my end, however if anyone here could help me resolve this it would be appreciated. My settings are all set to your recommendations

Please fix the 'creating extra villagers' taunt and easiest difficulty. This taunt keep tell repeatly and difficulty nothing do rise on age. :steamfacepalm:

Noticed that when AI attacking and retreat at some point all units stack and become idle for 5 seconds... I can kill some at that point but feells like I cheat)))

By "doing any more" do you mean updating, or actually making it usuable? Apparently it's a "Legacy" mod: a.ka it needs to be updated to the new workshop system.

But yes, I've made it so that it's much more likely to attack when a human requests it. 200+player number and 222 should be coming in the next update.

I know, it's not very talkative. That's mostly because I haven't been able to use much text when testing because I've had so much debugging chat (there's a limit to the number of different text lines you can have at once), though now that I've taken it all out I might be able to see about slipping some stuff in...

You should find it comes up with a few random threats I found in the stringtable when it attacks you, though.

Together with this Logbot on a landmap I beat the newest Resonance AI and Bruteforce 2vs2 conquest starting dark age standard resources on hardest 300 pop max.
We both lived to tell the tale but Logbot didn't say much.

Asking them to build a navy will stop that. I messed that up a bit when I wrote it wayyy back it seems.

Fixed that now for the next version, or whenever the option comes to be able to update workshop mods properly...

The difficulty with AIs walling is that they can only do in a huge square around their starting TC like the old Conquerors AI did with one gate in each side. I'm not sure if it's worth doing, though I haven't tried walling since I added the close town building. The cost in villager time and stone would surely slow it a huge amount, though.

AI players' economies are generally a lot worse than humans because the game engine can do nothing about tasking villagers intelligently - often a villager that builds a farm will run off and be retasked onto something else and another villager will be brought over to gather from the new farm. Little things like that really make it difficult to keep up with human build orders/standards without going down the cheating route. Saying that, building the TCs earlier would produce a bigger boom, but they're already usually going up quite early as it is.

I can however make it go up to imperial a little sooner. Thanks for the feedback! :D:

it needs work a bit more on booming, in 1v1's wall if FC, no wall if full rush, it needs more pop, 30 min 90 pop on arena is not that much, alleast 105-110 would be good of vills, and faster imp time if possiable, thats pretty much it all needs to be a stronger ai :)
