Kill La Kill was a weird show when I started watching it upon another's suggestion. I got pretty hooked further in. Some of the "experimental" parts in the episodes threw me off as they didnt really fit and IMO the show would have been better without them. I would still recommend it to anyone who has dabbled in anime and advise to stick with it and the rediculous story it starts with as it does get better later in the series.
