it's inexplicable why they didnt include a lumber mill in the game to start with

Thankyou; local trees do need processing.the additional production is nice to have.

I love this mod, it adds just that little extra that makes forests interesting. BTW, in case anyone is wondering, I've been playing this mod with Rising Tide for some time now and have not had any problems.

I think your looking for the "Arboretum" or some variant of that if you want this to be a Harmony style building. maybe a Xenoarboretum that is along the lines of a Xenosactuary but more in lines with cultivating the biosphere to productive uses without destroying it.

Wonderful, i love to keep forests to improve "biopuits" on ! (1 health improvement) and also take the tech adding +1 culture on it.
Purity just keep human pure ^^ .

You're exploiting it though rather than letting it live as is, which makes it more a Supremacy thing than a Harmony one (which would be based around integrating with the planet). Purity doesn't make much sense if you think about it - you'd want human trees like the kind you get in terrascapes, not weird alien trees. I'd rather see it appear earlier and lose the 5% boost.

It is an early game building - on the same tech line as Robotics (line 2). The reason I put it harmony was because forests are kinda useless in the game, so the best way would be to cut them down. But instead you are working with the environment to benefit your civ. To me this represents harmony by letting the environment live and not destroying it.

Sorry if it's the name that's a bit misleading.

If I made it any earlier in the tech tree then it could be very strong for a city with say 4/5 forests.

I have two concerns:
1. This should totally be purity
2. This should be in an earlier technology I mean humanity can cut trees from ages and adapting saws shouldn't be that hard

This should either be part of robotics or something early in the game, maybe even something purity.
