ok so in case people dont know these maps are broken period. idk if its because they have/had little experiance in hammer editor but this and quite a few others they made are buggy and broken

no there really isn't any way you can fix this map without more proper skill in sfm hammer witch to be clear is not worth it as sfm-hammer is the most unstable hammer editor of any source product and even then its unlikely it could be saved

i want to be blunt too i doubt the uploader here actually tested them before uploading. make sure you read the comments of workshop items before you sub to prevent stuff like this from happening

it's too bad it isn't the updated version that was submitted to tf2 where there is much more scenery added

When I try to open the map, nothing happens, just says NO MAP LOADED! as if the map doesn't exist.

FIX. just go to the SDK and check the portal packs

@atomic speed: Go to Library -> software -> right-click on SFM -> properties -> DLC -> check the box "portal content pack" and it should work.

Does this need any Addons? For me it says I need Portal 2

Why's there all this Wireframe replacing the texture of the vines? I installed all the DLC.

What dlc do I need?

I have Portal 2 Downloaded and it still doesn't work

SFM doesn't work with more than 4 Gigabyte of ram anyway since it being a 32bit application. What matters are CPU and GPU speed, aswell as harddrive speed (and age for that matter, since old harddrives slow down immensly). If you have alot running in the background and/or a older harddrive, slowdowns are a given.

Well if 16Gb of RAM is not enough for this map I don't know if 32Gb will be. As far as I'm aware most maps don't go up to ~3000Mb memory usage but hey, maybe it's just me and my setup. Regardless, thanks for the map, used it a video.

@TeeRave neither me or any other of the testers ever had any problems regarding performance or crashes with this map, and this is the first time i ever heard of it.
I'd reccommend using a faster PC to process more workload.

This is incredible.

This map puts a terribly huge load on Source Filmmaker. Please look into optimizing it and reducing performance impact. No other map has made my SFM crash more than this one in my 4 years of experience with SFM.

Ahh... it's a shame there won't be a dark version. Working on a pretty long video that would greatly benefit from dynamic lighting on this map. Oh well, I'll try another map I suppose.

Whenever I try to load in the map, it just does nothing. No error, map doesn't load. I need some help; I want to use this pretty bad.

also, on my SFM, DLC doesnt work or download, even though i have the games.
so even if i could SOMEHOW get the map to open, the foilae wouldnt be there.

any help would be appreciated.
