You inspired me with your design i build something similar in another game perhaps the smallest ship built so far in that game.
The remote control you found is the remote for the barge itself. It sounds like the drone might already be disconnected from the ship. When you paste the ship in it should, by default, be owned by "me" and the drone should be set to this same ownership. If you had to change the ownership it is possible that the drone disconnected when the ownership was changed. If this happened you'll need to fly yourself out to the drone and access it directly in order to change the ownership of all the functional blocks on the drone to the same ownership as the barge ("me").
Steps taken:
Load world and paste in ship
Approach Outer Hatch Sensor
Sensor Triggers Timer closing inner door, depressurizes the section and opens outer door
Now here is where it fails
When your inside the ship you approach the inner door sensor. The Inner door is already open because it doesnt close when you go in the ship (pretty sure this is intended)
When you walk up to the outer door the inner door correctly closes and the section depressurizes and you fly out but when you turn around to look at the ship you will see that the inner and outer doors are now open with the entire ship depressurized.
At this point your doors are borked.
Im my experience if you accidentally manually open one or if you go through one door and then back up at all it will trigger the sensor again opening both doors and then whalla your out of sync and the doors stop functioning as intended.
Details in the change notes - but jump drive as well as other updates!
Otherwise a great ship :)
Thanks for stopping by and happy engineering!
Thanks GS <3
Glad you're enoying the VC series; thanks for checking it out!
Hope that helps! Let me know if it still doesn't work :)
Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions - and welcome to space engineers!
And i also like its vanilla no mods ^_^
@grich117: Very soon!
Although i don't like the massive drill-section :p
But nice work, keep it up!
