Well the Mod is running fine, but it does not work for shield walls of the nomads units. Nevertheless I love the mod.

problem, units in your shield wall do fight worse, because of the high spacing. normal charging attackers are more dense andso, hit more often, which even overcompensates the formations bonus. so attackers tend to win even with no charging bonus.

any idea how to change a formations spacing ? (make it more tight, as the vanilla shield wall is)

i also experience units not closing in to each other when both are in formation. i guess this is good for staring contests.

This formations were already mobile in Vanilla. What is the purpose other than adding your own two cents about formation stat bonuses?

What exactly does this mod contribute other than adding the move to the 2 formations? That's been done in most mods since 2015. Did you get attacking testudo to stop deactivating? Does the AI use it more frequently? Why and when should we use this?

Then this is good news. More things should be made to benefit the AI. Maybe one day we won't need those lame stat bonuses to make up for their stupidity.

It seems this doesnt make the attack testudo a valid melee formation like shieldwall despite the 15 bonus against infantry - Due to it breaking down upon movement or heavy cavalry charge or any pike unit.

@bigsur - I noticed the soldiers make the "shout" noise when they walk, are they supposed to be making this while standing still also? While my shield walls are up they "shout" every few seconds as if they are moving.

Something that annoys me deeply is that infantry undo their formation once you order them to attack!! Rome II wans't like this. What's CA's problem?? Does this mod correct that? OR You guys know any mod that changes that? Thank!

@wca_1994 , no. it works well. problems are on your side. maybe it`s a conflict between some of your mods. or you`re just trying to use immobile "shield screen"

u can already move shieldwalls in vanilla - just keep em in formation
but this should be more comfortable ;)

Looking at your screenshots, what type of mod are you using for the variety in shields or is it a unit pack?
