listen ive animated before, for tf2, ive made an entire animation pack for the heavy, and i know how painful it is to animate, but only moving the arm to the side and recompiling really shouldnt be that difficult right?
You can fix it by not using the mod.

A console command to turn off the purity setting. GMod's default assets can't be replaced unless purity is disabled.
The Gravity Gun being part of compiled C++ code doesn't help. You'd have to scratch code the entire Gravity Gun in Lua by reverse engineering the .cpp files on the SDK.
Best I've found so far, twas a pain in the ass just finding a g-gun swep, nvm a quality stand in... this will do:-) Super dope... cept it burns every time used that this isn't an alternate hand function lol. (Not knocking if that came across that way lol, been thinking of how to incorporate the g-gun into my hl2 setup in a way that's not awkward as f- with a viewmodel that could possibly look like in first person you were holding it lol. So far I have alt hands that do lots of things, but gotta put down my one handed gun to use my hand. Makes me feel like I could be doing more to make the g-gun fit, even if this gets me all I used to need or want in that it actually looks like your doing it lol... unlike the original.
There's no third person model anyway.
You can blame that one on MaxOfSTD. It goes back to the GMod 13 beta when he kept fucking up everything he touched, and got upset that people were replacing it themselves.
Set "sv_pure -1" in the console. The weapon models are protected by the pure setting.
Just working on an HL2 we're just testing out some hand models and I was wondering if I could use yours for testing. If not that's completely fine!
