My official term would be creative laziness. At the time I couldn't find the right pieces or scale to make the separated prongs look good so I settled with a solid front. That's all, so now we're left with a strange non-canon hybrid frigate that I think looks decent.

There's been at least 3 different frigate classes on screen so far. The Forward Unto Dawn was a Charon class. The Savannah from Reach was a Paris. The frigates from Halo 4 were the Strident class.
But this actually does look more like the Strident than Paris, with the closed prongs. I'm curious why you did that? Not criticising here, just wondering.

Also tell me i'm so conflicted whether i should pre order Halo 5 after the so disapointing launch of MCC, my multiplayer experience from that game has been taken away since i find it so hard to find players (right now i can't even access it) despite the amazing time i had going through all 4 games (can't get ODST for some fucking reason)
Also even though im excited for H5, ngl im also very nervous cause it looks to me a lot can go wrong, one thing that is annoying me is how 343 seems to be moving away from the original Halo universe, they are forging there own new universe with changed lore which im conflicted about because i know everything about halo (no seriously, i do) and some things just don't seem right to me

I can see where you are drawing that idea from, but no I didn't base it off of the halo 4 frigate. I simply changed the bow MAC shafts so that they were a solid thing instead of 2 prongs.

No offence, it looks more like the Halo 4 Varient which looked completely different to how it was suppose to look, is that what you based this off?

Thanks a lot! Yes I am planning on creating more designs and getting a more complete UNSC fleet. This one specifically I modified from an earlier custom frigate design that had a similar hull, it took me about 3 hours of creating the details from the halo version and the custom "artistic liberties" that I thought would look best in Gal civ.
