RNG stopped working... Now all the medkits are Eevee for me when i pick them up...

glaceon medkit is my choice

Judging by their guide on RNG made in February, it might not be possible anymore for kit-by-kit randomization. I think the new code is more lightweight and does work, but applies to every kit per level (so if it chooses Leafeon, all kits on that current map will be Leafeon too). I may update the code here with that newest version depending on how the addon is currently behaving (you'd have to tell me, i haven't used it in a long time).

You can try asking Ellie if theirs still works or can be fixed, as it's their code. I don't know enough about it myself other than the basics of implementing it.

Understandable. I was trying to consider a way to make the in-hand one randomize alongside, but I think the only way to do that is with a custom model, since the on-ground and in-hand models are different.
Ellie has a health kit mod that does this but it uses a different model so I assume that's why it can work for it.

or if anything it would be cool to have all the ones on the ground be Eevee's, then when you pick them up they "evolve" into one of the others lol, and that way the ones on your teammates backs look different, although that would still have the flickering when you first pick them up so i see why you went this way where the grounds are random cuz it doesnt flicker

personally i would rather deal with the flickering for a few seconds as it decides which it wants to be then always seeing Eevee on the chars around me and in-hand, otherwise may as well just remove all the others and make it just and Eevee mod lol, then release a flareon one and umbreon one etc.

its still cool they show up as different colors on the ground, but the best part is each char having a different colored one on their backs, so its fine and all but ill probably wait to find one that has the player view and world view models change (even if those change separately and dont match when you see it to when you pick it up), still thanks tho

When I apply the file, the color only comes out in yellow. The color has to come out randomly but only yellow comes out. Is there any way to solve this?

Espeon's or Leafeon's seems bugy, i think Espeon. i was just holding it in hand and it kept changing between Espeon and Leafeon.

Im unlucky! I got mostly time Umbreon, what i want less that others, even i like to get just orginal Eevee or Sylveon & i still got more others then those two. x3

I'll wait for the super rng'd medkit with all 800+ 'mons in it, this will do for now ;)

I will report a glitch. When holding them in my hands, it sometimes rapidly switches between two difrent skins before picking one after a couple of seconds.

Yeah, it's not ideal but it's an unfortunate result of this kind of RNG. I still think Ellie did a great job with it, even if it's not perfect - but nothing's perfect nowadays, really. I certainly wouldn't have done better.

ive been using this mod for some time and if i have to rate it then i would give it 9/10 because of the skins change from TPS to FPS and thats just annoing like how umbreon on TPS is leafeon on FPS is just sad..

The skins don't sync properly between their world model and the thirdperson/firstperson models. It's an unfortunate side effect with having each individual item in the world randomized with its skin.

There is a bug, in this medickits, i guess? If you try to pick up "Blue" -Glaceon Medickit, that transfer/swap into -Eevee medickit into back & when i swap that on my hand that medickit transfer/swap into "Red" -Sylveon medickit. x3
