Gopescope,
I love this idea and I want to put a similar system on my frigate. However, I am having a very hard time doing it and I have no real idea how to impliment it. Would you be willing to help me? I have the frigate uploaded to steam under my workshop. I'd be willing to sign in to help or let you design a system for it. Of course I'd give you credit. Would you be willing to help?

hey love the ship in all but theres one problem from time to time when i use it the bombs explode in the bay because they wont fall out do the bombs use artificial grav if they dont it may help them fall out of the bay and not explode inside the ship ( i tried getting lower to the ground for more of the planetary grav one of two thing would happen the bombs would explode inside the bay or my target would blow the bombs up in the bay and shoot me down)

I did build a low orbit version of it / I modified it so it could be used in low orbit. All in my private world of cause but it was really easy. I think it could even hover perfectly.

this needs an update maybe? because you want atmos thrust for low orbit bombardment just in case right?

@Gopescope Wasn't I the one that identified the ownership problem with your torpedo ship? :D

BTW, did you ever fix the no-mod designs once I identified the problem? (Gonna be popping over in a second to check.)

Of course! I've gone back and updated a number of VC ships with jump drives already (still need to with this one obviously) and future ships will certainly be equipped with jump drives.

Sounds like an ownership issue - if you've set the ship to be owned by you, you need to make the bombs (the blueprint used to build them) owned by you as well. Depending on what your needs are, you could also just make the launchers owned by "nobody" and that should fix the problem while still allowing the rest of the ship to be owned by you (for the purpose of controlling it remotely) - hope that helps, let me know if I can help with anything else, or if that doesn't work. I'm having probelms with the bombs being deployed. They are being built without the light armor and warheads and dropping.

The bombs need gravity which affects all blocks to function (because they have no artifical mass blocks or thrusters) - this ship is intended as a concept vessel for planets. For now you can use the "Natural Gravity" mod by Digi. Let me know if you are having that issue even while in a world using this mod. Thanks for checking out the ship!

everytime i start the bombing proccess the bombs just stay in the bays...they dont move...help please
