In the main menu, one of the scenes on the background is an assault on a Mars pirate base by a couple fighters and a dropship releasing a six-wheeled vehicle that looks JUST like this one, even the passenger seats at the back. Is this the same one? =o

It worked for me, I set ownership for all hidden blocks and turret stopped shooting

I think I tried that and it still didn't work, however I can't test it, Space Engineers is having massive memory issues on my computer right now and crashing all the time.

I found the reasons. It's some kind of a bug - it's because of hidden in terminal blocks - I hide them for comfort, but with Ctrl + A they still not selecting and so ownership didn't apply to them. You can fix it by pressing this "eye" button to show all hidden blocks, then Ctrl + A and set ownership. I'll report to Keens about this, this is obviously not suppose to be like that

I did some more investigating, It's happening to your Feathered Elevator, the Explorer Variant and your Heavy VTOL, on the Feathered Elevator I could see it was targeting the Refinary additional Modules I think. With all of the tests I've changed everything to my own ownership.
I think a fix would be setting the blueprint to automatically be under the pasters ownership.

I've set the ownership of the entire APC (So I think) and yet friendly turrets still shoot it? They aim some where inside the turret of the APC, I've shift clicked in the control panel of the APC to make sure everything is under my ownership but it still get's shot at, any suggestions?

Why? That's recommended mods, nobody force you to subscribe on them. You can ignore message about needed mods, while subscribing.
