I also think it'd be a good idea for balancing reasons to add about 100 reactor components to the build requirement, using them for controlling the thermal systems inside to process the ore quickly, instead of just 4x-ing the costs and adding a custom panel to the cost.
Vas 10 Feb @ 7:12pm
The refinery seems to be unable to be placed on its top or bottom. Kinda silly really. However, checking on its balance and such, it looks to be fairly decent. I believe you should move the top and bottom upgrade slots to the middle of the back, and to in between the ports on the sides. That'd make 12 on the back, plus 2 on each side for a total of 16 upgrade slots. Leaving the top and bottom empty for having the refinery stand upright inside a ship instead of on its side.

The assembler freeze the game
Sworn 26 Apr, 2023 @ 11:25pm
if you have multiple, leaving all but one with cooperative doesn't work, only one do all the work :(
miku567 14 Apr, 2023 @ 12:14pm
The assebler from this mod has no consumables tab, making it incompatible with mods that add items there
Xandrii 28 Jun, 2022 @ 9:10am
But to be clear: always loved this mod! Wholesome done!! :cyanheart::steamthumbsup:
Xandrii 28 Jun, 2022 @ 9:09am
What about a 4x4x6 arc furnace with ... 8? slots for modules
Also a similar one for non arc specific ores, a bit slower but more efficiently too

Assemblers aren't listen in Priority as Assemblers, defaulting to "Last (Uncategorized)"
Kodi4444 28 Feb, 2022 @ 9:46pm
yes please
EvilChef 27 Feb, 2022 @ 1:48pm
Could this mod possibly get updated?
Kodi4444 27 Aug, 2021 @ 8:43pm
I hope this gets updated.

Issue with cooperative mode causing hangs is fixed by KSH SE hotfix 5/20/2021.
Chucklehead 19 May, 2021 @ 7:58am
Found an interesting interaction with the Industrial Centrifuge: If an Advanced Assembler is in cooperative mode and you queue up processing in a centrifuge the game semi-hangs (graphics still rendering animated particles) and never recovers. I believe the issue is the Advanced Assembler attempting to assist the centrifuge because they are both technically classed as assemblers.

Hi DEVs, i like to ask your permission to add your models from this mod to our server production collection mod for server only.
I really like the assembler! it's so compact and has 6 full modules support that is just brilliant!
And the refinery upgrade add on so slim and powerful.

i will link back here, but i will make sure no one will ever use our mod, only original.

Thank you, and love your work guys!
Cython  [author] 7 Jul, 2020 @ 10:23am
Sure, go ahead! If it is credited it is alright. :)
Zardo 7 Jul, 2020 @ 2:10am
Hey there! I love these models! Great work!
Would you be willing to allow the server cluster im a moderator for (Sigma Draconis) to have permision to reupload these as apart of our modpack? We would love to make these an essential part of our new meta game :)
We would have to tweak some components and values and roll it into our 'core' mod we are building.
Happy to provide credit of course!

Thank you for your time!

This seems to be switching to its LOD model from far too close compared to vanilla refineries. Also the access ports don't seem to highlight if you don't look at the center of the port unlike vanilla access ports.

Update:

- elite tools can now be built in the adv. assembler
- added build planner support to adv. assembler
ProBot 29 Aug, 2019 @ 5:25pm
Quote:

"Not sure if it is indented or not, but the advanced assembler can't build the elite tools."

That's still not fixed
Cython  [author] 26 Aug, 2019 @ 1:31pm
Update:

- added blocks to the progression tree
MagicMarker 17 Jul, 2019 @ 7:18pm
While I don't mind 14 slots on the refinery *or* slots on the side, I *do* agree with Psi Lord: I'd rather have 12 slots on the back, and the sides free.

Also, the description is inaccurate. The Refinery module is NOT 1x4x2 in size, but 1x4x3!
Also, I would like the description to mention how strong it really is. It mentions the exact values for the Advanced Assembler and Refinery, so why not for the modules?

Finally, the increased storage capacity of the units is a good selling point. If I were you guys, I would *mention* these values in the description :)
eximius88 27 Jun, 2019 @ 10:53pm
Also, could you add the BuildPlanner class to the definition as well so that we can use the build planner with your mod?
eximius88 27 Jun, 2019 @ 10:22pm
Not sure if it is indented or not, but the advanced assembler can't build the elite tools.

The issue is in the block definition. This line needs to be changed
<Class>Tools</Class> ------> <Class>EliteTools</Class>
alexplanty 21 Jun, 2019 @ 5:32pm
what happened to the factory?
Eternal_Dev 21 Jun, 2019 @ 5:15pm
I have been looking for a mod like this, thank you!
I wish the Adv Refinery had 12 upgrade on the "back" and none on the side but that is just my taste. Again, ty for a much needed upgrade.
Cython  [author] 9 Jun, 2019 @ 3:28pm
Update:

- Added missing vanilla texture to the mod
Neimoh  [author] 9 Jun, 2019 @ 12:26pm
@SpacedNConfused the construction texture was vanilla armor_construction located in \\textures\models\cubes\armor which in writing this I just realized keen has deleted. I'll update the models or just add the texture to the pack.
Mopnex 15 May, 2019 @ 9:26am
excellent)) thank you))
Cython  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 10:50am
That was indeed a biiit too high. ;)
Cython  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 10:49am
Update:

- fixed refinery power consumption
Terminator™ 14 May, 2019 @ 2:04am
Kind Sirs, we really need that power consumption fixed, please!
Mopnex 3 May, 2019 @ 1:34am
You have an error in the calculation of consumption. Advanced Refinery consumes 100 times more energy than stated 10 times
Terminator™ 3 May, 2019 @ 12:57am
I think there is mistype in energy consumption of Advanced Refinery.
<OperationalPowerConsumption>50.6</OperationalPowerConsumption>
If you wantedd 10x power consumption - it should be 0.56x10 = 5.6, not 50.6
SpacedNConfuzed 24 Apr, 2019 @ 8:54am
Can anyone advise what texture this uses in its build states ? ... they have gone default pink for me but it is fine fully built ?
KazzM8 18 Apr, 2019 @ 8:34am
The advanced assembler needs to have EliteTools instead of Tools in its definition. I'd publish an edited version I'm using for a private server, but not without express permission from one of the authors. Besides, it's such an easy fix that anyone can do it themselves
Snøfler 23 Mar, 2019 @ 4:53am
Build info says the refinery module has a lower efficiency too, I haven't verified that though.
ProBot 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:27am
Yo, why is in the advanced assembler, only the second tear of tools and not all? and just the normal gun?
agrimes 8 Mar, 2019 @ 11:46pm
A great many of my refitted ships were equipped with that factory module. =| I treated it as a routine part of any design above a certain weight class that already had a certain level of assembler capacity. =\ I have around 65 ships re-published on workshop and in my collection, the fleet is getting difficult to maintain...
killtyrant 17 Feb, 2019 @ 1:56pm
Just happened through and I saw an update. ill give it a test. Appreciate the hard work friends.
Cython  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 1:05pm
Update:

Neimoh completely reworked the mod basically by creating new, modern looking models, updating and optimizing the definitions as well as adding a new block, the refinery module.

All credit for this awesome job goes to him!

The factory was also removed in the end due to it causing too much trouble with the engine.
Snøfler 14 Oct, 2018 @ 10:38am
Thats because the game doesnt "know" which of the steel plate blueprints to use (x1 or x20). You can fix it by unzipping the mod and deleting the advanced assembler and its blueprints, and then loading your own version. Just keep in mind it wont work in multiplayer if you do it.
Also you have the same problem if you try to use "disassemble all"
Ximien 14 Oct, 2018 @ 9:15am
hey, idk if youve known this, but this mod breaks vanilla assemblers and makes them not build certain parts for blueprints. like if you try to make a small ship drill it only makes the computers and motors.
Queue 29 Jun, 2018 @ 12:27am
@\TG/ Altaree TIM doesnt work well with modded items, at best you can display them with INVEN
Kodi4444 16 Jun, 2018 @ 10:42am
the assembeler is kinda buggy it doesnt assemble relyably
Altaree 3 Apr, 2018 @ 1:27pm
How do I get Alloy Plates to work with TIM?
/AlloyPlate,500,1% doesn't seem to work.
I changed Construction Components from 20 to 19% to compensate. Still wouldn't autoproduce alloy plates.
The Sage of Games 17 Mar, 2018 @ 11:10am
When I use this mod, the refineries do not refine, assemblers dont assemble.
Annastasya 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:12pm
*I ran into the same issues with assembly and items not disassebling correctly. I managed to get it working properly after I removed the multicomponent items and the factory from the mod files entirely. Nothing exploded and the assemblers are working for items again.
Crowbot 3 Mar, 2018 @ 6:28pm
This would be better if you used standard components.
superhelicase 8 Feb, 2018 @ 12:37pm
When i use this mod, it disables the ability to click on an item in an assembler's output inventory in the production screen and automatically disassemble it.
Jaxlyfe 12 Jan, 2018 @ 1:06am
Why is the assembler only disasembling some components?
