I agree with Napoleon, the next map should be an apartment building. There should also be some cool secret, like, press 'e' on a prop and ... Whola! A secret door swings open! That would be cool.

it's the debug mode when it is white, and missing textures (a special texture) when content for that texture is missing.

you shuold have a map with all the 1950's maps in one huge map!

While possible, I am afraid that the Victorian house would be next to impossible to create. The motel itself would be easier to make however. :)

However, I am currently taking a break from mapping. My next (planned) map will be a giant map, with a town, an airport, a highway, a farm, and a suburb. It would be similar to GM_Fork, or GM_BigCity (very few enterable buildings, due to giant map size.)

Thanks! While the map isn't exactly based on Minneapolis, the motel's exterior is closely based on it. However, the building which contains the lobby on the map was really two stories in real life. The real motel was called the Falls motel (I'm not sure if it's still in business or not.) :)

I Think that's because your models and textures are very colorfull, they do not make my style but they are very nice!

I'm afraid I can't add any more lighting to the map. Garry's mod does not have the best lighting of games, sadly. All you can do really is add light sources, and set up a general lighting. However, the shadows always look very minimal for some reason.

Not yet. However, my next map will be a giant map, like gm_fork. It will have a highway, a town, a suburb, an airport, and a farm. Unfortunately, the map would not have enterable buildings, due to performance reasons. Only a few buildings, such as some stores, and gas stations would be enterable. The map will be started being made in several months, as I am currently taking a big mapping break, to refresh my mapping creativity. :D
