Check your mod wall. There are some texture issues
rich.k.perry 18 Nov, 2018 @ 10:27am
hi a great set of walls, any chance you could make them compatible with small block ships too please ?
Erk 27 Nov, 2016 @ 2:10pm
Hello! i love these walls! I was wondering if you had any plans to illuminate them in some way, or to add a floor block with lights? My goal is to make the hallways for the new Enterprise.

Is the backside on the straight block supposed to be black all the time? Cause it is. Which is weird seing how the corner pieces get painted on all sides.

mod has memory leak :/
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:46pm
yes. it will be nearly circular. theres actually a picture i used for inspiration for this style of wall.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:44pm
im having difficulty getting screenshot from my game to the comments here, but I think I can just upload them in general to my account and you can veiw them since were friends.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:42pm
ya I know, do you think it will be released this week or month or what? just getting an idea.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:41pm
can you make it like a continuation of the two walls factin each other? like one facing right, a space for you to walk through, and one facing the left. ABove where you stand there would be a ceiling that looks like an extrapolation of the two walls' column peices that are to the fledt and right of the individual block face. It would mae it look like a single circular tunnel/corridor like the Ebon Hawk's corridors.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:38pm
awesome
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:29pm
there will be a ceiling and floor. like i said, not realeaseing till its all done.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:29pm
gimme a sec and ill try and upload the pics
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:29pm
I don't neccessarily want you to try and change the existing angle to do that because it looks awesome already and it would probly mess it up.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:28pm
if you could make an extremely similar ceiling block that we could add, it would be great. The problem with just putting the existing block as a ceiling is that it doesnt carry the angle across like it should, it bulges up rather than carrying the same angle across. Iwould show you a picyure if i knew how, I guess I can take a screenshot and then copy-paste it here.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:23pm
yeah
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:13pm
yea im messing with the wires, getting them looking right.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:11pm
Dude that looks awesome
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:08pm
i accepted
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 3:08pm
Btw, I sent you a friend request.:steamhappy:
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:52pm
also, the cargo hold's and garage's outer walls are curved which is hard to recreate. It would be amazing if you could somehow recreate these angles/doors.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:50pm
I wonder if it would be possible to make the doors rotate like usual, diagonally, and also at like a 15 degree angle from the sides or something for the two garages doors. Here;'s a link to a pic of the ebon hawks interior map:
http://puddlesgathering.com/blog/img-ebon_hawk_plans.png

you can see how the cargo hold's (7) hallway is difficult to make, the garage's (8) doors in the bottom left of the room are at an akward angle, and again the cargo hold's (7) door is running diagonally to the rest of the ship.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:43pm
Ill try and upload pics of it at some point.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:42pm
ya but it would look epic in the end. I havent put it on the workshop even though Iv'e been working on it for like months is becasue I keep trying to make it more and more perfect with new ideas and awesome mods coming with time.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:41pm
oh ok
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:40pm
This would also be useful on other places on the ship like in the engine room and in the storage room in the main hold, not mention on any everyday map on space engineers
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:40pm
alot of specialized blocks for that ship.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:38pm
What would definitly be most helpful, would be if someone (because literally no one has done this yet) could make a door that was actually slanted where it would run diagonally to the grid. This is helpful because the same corridor that leads to the cargo hold is not horizontal or vertical, it's diagonal, and not just that bit also at a curve (that's why it's so hard to make that corridor (I've just been using ramps and slanted blocks)) but at the dorrway anyhow, the current doors only line up vertaically or horizonatally on the grid and so it's currently impossible to place a door that is both flush and also lined up with the corridor wall like in the game.
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:34pm
no it will be all new mod. almost half the model is same as old one. the pillar dividers(almost the same tho) are different and the top part is different.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:30pm
oh ok, but try not to sway too far from the current, cuz it looks awesome. Are you going to replace the old engineering with the new, or just add new? Becasue you should leave the old and just add the new because they will both look great, unless the new is very similar, just more detailed. Lol I keep rambling on...
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:28pm
It would have to have to be several blocks that only look right when added together to make the 90 degree curve. Also, like I mentioned before, and becaise it should be fairly easy to fix, the current engineering corner has a screwed up hitbox, where I can't walk where I should be able to. Additionally, the regular strait engineering peice flickers like crazy on DX11.
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:26pm
im remodeling the engineering, wont be released till whole engineering set is complete. it will look alot nicer and more detailed.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:25pm
You should make the drawn out 90 degree corridor that uses the engineering style that's made out of several blocks that occurs between the port dormitories and the engine room's t-section hallway.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:23pm
I've been using the curved luxury ones, but they don't fit in because they are from two different styles.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:22pm
Which block are you doing? The one I suggested about the curved engineering corner?
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:20pm
It's making good progress, but the doors aren't very good. If somebody could recreate the Ebon Hawk's doors form Kotor I and II and then copy the sound from Kotor's files and use it on the door it would be awesome.
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:18pm
i'll be posting a picture of the block out when im done.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:18pm
I'm gonna try to figure a way out to post pics of my Ebon Hawk on here
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:18pm
great, I am excited!
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:17pm
the block out is almost done, about to start detailing, then off to textures.
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:16pm
awesome
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:16pm

LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:16pm
I just wrote a review for Space Engineers in general and I gave you a shout-out for your great work so far!
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:15pm
the model
LORD 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:15pm
mesh?
(WW) commanderoz  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 1:31pm
Stroke of Inspiration, new mesh comeing along quickly.
LORD 5 Mar, 2016 @ 8:07pm
But you really at least need to fix the hitbox on the engineering corner, it's messed up and I'm being forced not to place it becasue of space constraints. It will fit in the spots, but i can't walk throught that tunnel becasue I run into an invisible hitbox that is a part of the corner!:steamfacepalm:
LORD 5 Mar, 2016 @ 7:51pm
Actually I now realize that you didn't remove the engineering corner, it was a glitch on my part and it's fine now. But it would still be cool if you added the curved corner rather than strait (like in the luxury wall corners but in the engineering style).
LORD 5 Mar, 2016 @ 7:10pm
Actually nevermind about the not being HD part, I just had my saturation and values on my color picker way off.
LORD 5 Mar, 2016 @ 7:06pm
By the way dude, the engineering walls still flicker like crazy. Also, on DX11 the engineering walls don't look that HD. What's up with that? Lastly, I think you removed the engineering corner and Im assuming it was to update the piece; you should make it rounded like the luxury corner but with the engineering texture and also make an inverted corner. Could you also make like T-sections and cross-sections? I hope I'm not being annoying, I just see a lot of potential in your work.
LORD 5 Mar, 2016 @ 6:28am
oh ok
