But this mod seems to conflict with the Awesome series of mods and BB's mods. The game starts fine and visually the immersive aspect is there, however there is a bugged out promotion section where they give me no option to set them to alert or defence anymore or even sleep or "do nothing". Making playing extremely frustrating with the mod installed.
But, and I don't know if this is a mod conflict or an issue with the mod itself, it makes the game near unplayable.
It may not happen for a few hours or it may not even last past the loading screen, there, no way to tell, but it makes the game crash out. Sometimes even hard enough I have to force restart to regain control.
All I know is that when I loaded up a game without this one, single, mod in play all the problems evaporated.
I'm going to miss it.

When i choose not to load the mod all works normal again.
If you prefer to have it stay active in any given save file, you can force that by going to:
Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Immersive Armies (v 4)
Open Immersive Armies (v 4).MODINFO with a text editor and change:
<AffectsSavedGames>0</AffectsSavedGames>
to
<AffectsSavedGames>1</AffectsSavedGames>
This means that any save file that you started with Immersive Armies active does now require Immersive Armies to be active and will activate it automatically.

Google "using mods as DLC civ5" and you'll find some good info and how to use mods in multi. Don't have a link since I'm at work.
In the <Unit>-Table you'd then simply enter ART_DEF_UNIT_RYIKA_RAPTOR_BUG_2 as the new ArtDefine.
When the game displays a unit as Marine when it shouldn't be a marine then that means that there's something wrong with the ArtDefine. Either the model doesn't exist, or there's a syntax-error somewhere - or you've just forgotten to check "Reload Unit System" in the Mod Info Tab.

- My explorer is missing his action menu, can't do expedition or anything
- my units have weird points of upgrades, two working normally and few looking like missing font, saying for example TXT_UPG_somethingsomething and I can't click them. Any ideas?:)
