I sometimes start a single player game system map pasting this ship in, acting like it was willed to me by some obscure relative. Then I go play the encounters/npc ship/economy game.
I get excited every time there is a new block DLC released as that means more chances to upgrade the old girl. Still rusty, of course...
One problem I have though is that the floor connector in the hangar doesn't seem to be connected to the rest of the ship. When you dock the S.R.U.V. you can't transfert material.
I have question do you have "her" Hydro engine version?
its because this ship was made using angled armor blocks as thruster covers, but these blocks have been removed from the game several years ago. I should update this ship but I can't because I have new hardware now and having trouble figuring out updating old blueprints without steam creating new versions of it.
I spawn this in in creative, make my way to the pilot's seat, and as soon as i start moving, a few sloped armor blocks fall off the back, making a clanging noise... i couldn't quite tell where they came from, but i think they fell off of the thruster pods, nothing important was damaged.
I think it's quite funny given the ship's description. this random mishap just added to it's character. "oh well, looks like we lost a few parts again..."
"eh, just leave it for now, patch it up with some scaffolding and tape next time we stop to resupply"
I kinda like the "pile of junk" feel it has
the whole asthetic is just really neat and well done
can i some how fix that
@Aragath, Thank you for the many wonderful ships that you have made.
It would probably work better if the decompression threw Arjen into the side of the wreck and accidentally set of the demolition charges
I know. I was there the last episode but I wasnt of much help. :P

ah ok. :) I believe there is a way to see the components if the ship is projected by a projector block. look in the projector block controll pannel and it should display the comonents. or blocks. I dont remember. XD
the ship is beautiful tho. i have to say you did a damn fine job with it. it physically hurt to destroy it. it really did.
haha? XD oke. why?
based on what are these asumptions made? :P how is this ship classified as capital white its no larger then a real life common jacht? You got me interested. :P
as for expensive. I have to agree ofcourse. since you can always ductape all the functional blocks togerhet without using a single armor block and have a more practical ship in the end.
Your ship is classified as: CAPITAL SHIP (Exploration Carrier)
And its Cost Quotient is: Expensive
And costs these components: (AS SHIP APPEARS IN BLUEPRINT, SOME PARTS ARE NOT COMPLETED WHEN BUILT FOR LOOKS)

What eccacly is the problem?
Wha tdo you mean randomly reaching 1000 m/s? are you using a speedmod? if so, maybe the smaller ship inside breaks lose and rips trough the craft.
It looks great and it feels very authentic
I fitted 3 drills on the front to mine Ice and iron
That sounds al realy great! glad you had so little difficulty getting used to the ships functions.
damage detection system not giving you headaches yet? ;)
But yes, if it was a personal roleplaying ship you were looking for, thats what I designed it for. ;)
Curious about the screenshot.
Yes, piping was a total hell. I some of the pipes stick out of the armor on purpose. but it was difficult getting everything conected. Most of the coridors are oxinated even though there are no vissible airvents. (hidden) And I am stil unhappy about the main room where the medbay is. I remade it like 10 times. this version was stil visualy the most pleasing.
Thanks man! You got me curious though. This ship is confusing to a lot of new players since it uses sensors, automated airlocks and a tight intiroir. how did you manage to work around with that?
