This does, indeed, appear to be outdated. Exceptions thrown, and even crashed my game as of Contact update.
only1tiberious 20. sep. 2022 kl. 7.18
is this outdated?
Mask of Humble 28. nov. 2020 kl. 14.59
@The Clap you can download the defenseive shield mod and it has a air tight version, shame to see this mod go outdated tho -.-
The Clap 8. apr. 2019 kl. 5.55
damn i thought this was a spherical force field of oxygen still pretty cool
strormtrooper 4. apr. 2019 kl. 8.15
@4a 6 163 6b (jack), try using two layers of force field, or i have a system that does lights when open or closed, you could try something like that with the timer blocks
Jack (Jackalan23) 22. mars 2019 kl. 14.04
Force field visible from one side only. Please fix then I can use without fear of killing myself or my ship. :(
TwinMinds 4. juli 2018 kl. 10.09
@|DR| |DGBLUE| BRUH, you sure you're not thinking of the other mod? Airtight Force Field Hangar Doors by Hannobal? That's the only mod I know of that does that weird thing where it leaves visuals behind when the ship moves.
AtarisDominé 3. juli 2018 kl. 8.58
when i move my ship the shield visuals stay where i built it
TwinMinds 9. juni 2018 kl. 16.26
Agreed with previous comments. Only one side of the force field is visible, and the current transpanency makes it nearly impossible to see head-on. The screenshots look much more vibrant blue than we get in the game. I would recommend a transparency slider and color change options. Otherwise these work perfectly.
Brodep 5. juni 2018 kl. 21.46
The block doesn't show up in the block inventory.
ratheden 2. juni 2018 kl. 2.32
Sektan can the field be made more visible? Less transparent is what I am asking.
For your force field doors could a text file for config be made? to control airtightness, color of door, etc?

Great work reguardless, still using your stuff to this day, looking forward to more of your updates !!
Drats666 17. nov. 2017 kl. 18.52
These are not a replacement for hannobal's force field. friends and me downloaded these because the others have a moving issue. However, you cannot walk/fly through these like hannobals. One side has a nice mirror texture, the other side is invisible. not a bad mod/block but it isnt what we thought it was.
KilledJoy 12. okt. 2017 kl. 17.52
Revive?
MaDJaMeS 12. mai 2017 kl. 22.56
9 is as big as 10....
Democracy Officer 0311 27. apr. 2017 kl. 16.01
Still use these for my ships. One side is still transparent as described by other people. Not a big deal, just have to double check they are closed for airtight ships. If you fix that or not thanks for this mod among others i'm using that you made.
Anfareth 9. apr. 2017 kl. 14.06
Having the same issue as well where one side is transparent, please fix when you are able! This mod is amazing for my large station's hanger. Thank you for all your amazing mods Sektan!
Alexs 17. feb. 2017 kl. 11.17
can you fix it - please?
TIGIRAN 15. feb. 2017 kl. 22.00
And where the front side of them?? how to define when installing?????? Tweak
TIGIRAN 15. feb. 2017 kl. 21.59
The idea is good, But very much lag. I'm on a ship put them on the gate, it happens the ship will begin to shake at the horrible. Even tried instead of the defensive shields to use , retractable. How protection works, but when they are off retract into the design, be lags. Shorter lag when turned on and when turned off, Refine urgently please.
Marts 24. jan. 2017 kl. 2.12
Any chance you can fix this?
Forcefield is only visible from one side and it is now just a solid block of colour, not see throughable at all
Duna 2. jan. 2017 kl. 22.45
The opaque forcefields are not displaying properly from both sides. They will be invisible on one side and solid blue on the other.
RUSHER0600 14. des. 2016 kl. 13.11
This is the v2.0 version, it has opaque forcefields that you cannot pass through.
The v2.1 version has transparent forcefields.
joe_frearson 14. des. 2016 kl. 7.35
Not sure if its a graphics setting on my laptop but the force fields show up as a blue wall. They arent transparent like they used to be
CRC-7281 19. nov. 2016 kl. 17.08
Playing in the Stable Branch. These doors have now become invisible while still not letting anything pass through them
DarkLinkX5 20. sep. 2016 kl. 1.40
I found a slight bug. the door generates power instead of using it. i have 2 3wide doors and i get 790w input when the doors are on and 0w when off reguardless of closed or open. i have no power generating blocks on the station yet.
When your trying to do a solar survival you dont want doors to generate cheap power even though its useful. lol
xCloudx091 14. aug. 2016 kl. 11.43
Why are my force fields so much brighter than on your pics......?
MrEvan312 2. juli 2016 kl. 21.05
These are kinda becoming impossible to place, as you have to have blocks attached on the 5 other sides and, if the top block is taken away, these doors become deadlier than loose gyros.
MisterMann 27. juni 2016 kl. 19.19
Can make a bridge verson of this?
RUSHER0600 1. juni 2016 kl. 8.14
@timothy.anderton
Just check out the Airtight ForceField v2.1 mod on Sektan's workshop, these forcefields are invisible and you can walk through them (but oxygen cannot pass).
The Sage of Games 31. mai 2016 kl. 13.37
I think I will add this mod to the extensive list of mods being used on my Leviathan project, but the question I have is can these be made to act like atmo containment fields? In that: Objects and people can walk right through them but air cannot. That way you can have permanently open Shuttle bays without having to decompress the rooms prior to launch.
Shroom 18. mai 2016 kl. 20.33
This mod is currently running flawlessly on my dedicated server. No issues with anything floating away.
Hugh Manatee 17. mai 2016 kl. 5.38
A combo of these doors, big pistons and space balls were used to make this Art Deco creation. This is a preliminary design, so it's more of a concept and I'd like to improve on this design. Eventually, I'd like to incorporate it into the style of the building too, by mirroring the building below and using these to cap it off. Also, placing these doors to frame the entire structure should really stand out.

Almost forgot. The lights are from the brilliant SANCHIN Japanese City Scape Mod. Wish we had more like this one. The selection is amazing and is the only mod I know of with a touch of greenery. Although sadly, most of the trees look a bit lame and bare. Apart from one. Plus, there are grassy/mossy & dirt blocks.
Hummy 15. mai 2016 kl. 12.39
is this mod dead/broken? I noticed whenever I place one of these doors if i then remove a block (any block, anywhere on my ship) the door disconnects from the grid and just floats away from wherever it was attached. Sometimes if it's surrounded by other blocks it just destroys everything around it. Wtf?
Kriegsmarine Königstiger 11. apr. 2016 kl. 13.38
whats your skin mod?!?!?!?
jandraelune 9. apr. 2016 kl. 19.31
This one is designed to take impact damage during combat. The other one is not.
RUSHER0600 13. mars 2016 kl. 3.59
Exactly, I agree Misteryx5
Misteryx5 3. feb. 2016 kl. 17.29
why cant you make this forcefield to be able to walke through like on your other invisible forcefield ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=508564663&searchtext=force+fields ) ?
Because I want to have a forcefield that i can see but also walk or fly through, maybe llike in Starwars...
3301 30. jan. 2016 kl. 16.43
Nice Work Sektan !!
NZ_Wanderer 28. jan. 2016 kl. 8.49
Working perfectly for me :)
Dhampyru 14. jan. 2016 kl. 20.45
did the update break this one? the shield is not turning on
Rils 1. jan. 2016 kl. 15.22
Could you make an always-on passable one?
John Shepard 27. des. 2015 kl. 22.35
cause atm it looks ugly
John Shepard 27. des. 2015 kl. 22.33
Maybe Decrease extension time (make it longer to close) and add different colour so see-through
WaYa 26. des. 2015 kl. 11.55
this mod is a godsend with how funky the current doors and atmosphere system gets. (I often find that just opening a door between two room and closing such, will cause both rooms to suddenly be depressurized). I just use this as a substitute for airlocks, and place a few that can be "closed" in event of a breach so the other area's can be re-pressurized
Riku~Anita 25. des. 2015 kl. 21.31
hexagon texture?
Escape Goat 24. des. 2015 kl. 19.53
how do i make a hanger pressurized with this mod?
Jones 27 21. nov. 2015 kl. 16.38
absolute must have mod
J0K3R6397 9. nov. 2015 kl. 23.46
Using DX9 on DS, my friend was and is still able to use these rigged up to a sensor, and they open and close with no graphical errors whatsoever, but when I try to use them, they go haywire and look all messed up (although they function properly, just look like s**t.) Is this because I'm playing on the same computer as the server, or...? I even tried connecting to the WAN IP and LAN IP, no difference, no change.

What's up with that?
Encrtia 5. nov. 2015 kl. 6.36
I'm getting the same as Cronnoc - very good rig here as well. Any ideas?
PainGifter 6. okt. 2015 kl. 14.16
@JWA: you're thinking of Shaostoul's ShaoCorp Forcefield.
