I've gotten the same comments on my mods to "update" without any bug report - or reason to do so. Probably something in unstable build 42 that breaks mods and people play it as if it was the stable branch.
I'm not gonna bother updating or fixing things until B42 is officially released as TIS could introduce additional things that breaks functionality. I advice the anyone using my mods to stay on build 41 until 42 is officially released.
The spray paint mod or my planned map mod are much more interesting to continue with this.
I used this mod for quite a long time (considered it a must-have). It's great that the base game has included the same functionality now. Thanks for the useful mod.
- The mod will make an error when you teleport or make a new character after you died in the same world. (Restart the game will resolve the error)
- Once you enable this mod, the mod will not be able to disable due to the datadictionary error.
- If you want to use this mod and want to remove the mod later, you should modify the mod file and remove the clock item.
- Like other mods, this mod will not distribute the clock item.
1) Custom key instead of Right CTRL
2) Disable key and always show the clock (ofc if character has it).
Especially if you are streaming.
could there maybe be a toggle to go between the two?
! Hold Right CTRL , if you move or whatever with the keyboard!
! Otherwise just press Right CTRL!
@Hennesey: Unfortunately you can't change it in the game. For now you can look in the lua-script "NormalClock.lua" for this TWO lines: if key == 157 then
just change the 157 with your preferred key.
I will see, that in the next update the key is changable in game.

Error reports spawn every time I right-click a nonfunctioning Digital Watch.
Build 39 Solo - This works.
If the player has the outdoorsman trait and no digital watch, he will be able to see the horizon clock.
The red Digital Watch item seems to work correctly. The item ID for this is Base.DigitalWatch2.
The issue is that the grey/black Digital Watch model does not work. If you press U, no watchface will show, and if you press it again, your character will say "I still remember the current time." The item ID for this item is horizon_clock.DigitalWatch2.
This is a problem I've noticed both in singleplayer, and on our dedicated server. In short, one of the watch models is useless. Doesn't work as intended.
And sometimes, checking the time using U with a watch only says "I still remember the current time", even though it doesn't display the digital clock at all. (I only tried this on IWBUMS branch)
The mod itself is pretty good otherwise, especially the pixel art. Exactly what I was looking for. :)
