I've tested them one by one and i can replicate the exceptions.

And for example, the following train assets just work fine when spawned, they do not generate an exception:

I don't know what's going on, they worked fined up until last game patch.
Just wanted to mention the issue here and hoping that modders can find a solution.
The assets themselves are great!

can you make the new version ? ng or what it is and could you retexture this one to new HD view ? would be very nice if its more shiny to fit the 4K screens and cities we can now have with all the mods then this old texture train looks not so nice. thanks

I love the ViRMS and it seems this topic is somewhat dead

But if I recall you had another model, which was in my opinion closer to the real thing.
I'll give you a link to a model that someone glued together as 4+4 virm (eventhough they mainly do 4+6)

Do you still have these models? (they used to come in a 4 and a 6 version) but are no longer on the shop and I do miss them :x

@TURMOIL ASAP but the light beams (2 not 3 sadly) won't appear outside of the editor so I'm trying to fix that. Other than that it works as a charm right now

With "Vehicle Effects Mod" you are able to add a third light to a train (Not sure how to do it) but would be neat to see that on the VIRM aswell, and damn it looks really good man, 10/10 for you!

@TURMOIL thanks, I hope I can solve it as soon as possible. I can definately say I have had troubles with getting models to work in skylines, but nothing like this.

@TURMOIL Well I hope as soon as possible sadly the middlecars I made for them for some reason only display the diffuse map and refuse to load the illumination and other textures I made for them. This is not the case on the driving car however which it works fine. I'm trying to resolve it now, but I have no idea how except for trying to use different image formats and checking the models for mistakes. I hope as soon as possible though.

Before you publish it, it would be good to make it a bundle like there was done with the "ICMm/Koploper", it would be nice if you make the standard 4 car version, 6 car version, and 4 car connected to another 4 car version, these are the most common driving around in the Netherlands. =)

@zombiedragon, have you any idea how long it takes to add light to one of je VIRM models. We are waiting very long right now and it is the only train without any light. it is very ugly to see that in darkness

Hehe grappig, bij mij rijdt de 6 versie al. Top werk man. Toch een opmerking; zou je de ramen een andere texture kunnen geven? Probeer eens zwart. Voor voorbeeld, bekijk de treinen van ron_fu-ta eens. En de kleuren lijken een beetje off. Te clean.
