Hey Stix_09, could you tell me which table effects building construction times? I'd like to keep those they way they are in standard DEI.

AI is more aggressive on higher difficulty because they get even more buffs , which means they can have more armies, This makes them more aggressive, but does not make them play better.

So use mod to increase player difficulty in campaign. Play on normal.
If u want more aggressive AI then up the difficulty to higher level to buff AI resources even more.
But note as description says , mod also buffs the difficulty buffs AI gets. Which makes using higher difficulty with this mod even more aggressive. ( the power balance determines AI aggressiveness to player)

ie campaign difficult does not change AI skills.

Likewise battle difficulty just buffs AI players units stats, but does not increase skills of AI in battles.

Which Difficulty would you recommend playing this mod on? for Campaign Difficulty wise.

Seems like whenever i play on Very hard + The AI diplomatically perma declares war on me , Apart from this i quite love it , any way to fix it?

Just and FYI for people (same applies to other tables these submods edit)

To remove increased tech research time , just need to delete one table in this submod called "technologies_tables"

There are many videos on youtube showing how to edit tables using RPFM (rusted pack file manager) The basics are same for R2, Atiila, WH tw games)

You will find pack file for this mod in

"..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\214950\502374355"

(214950= steam ID for Rome 2, and 502374355= steam Id for this mod (seen in the URL address bar above)

Great mod! I love everything of it except that all factions are aggressive/devious and that makes diplomacy kind of useless. I would prefer normal DEI aggressive/reliable traits with more cultural aversion and with AI more aggressive and an initial budget of only 5000-10000 so that is hard to make good deals at the start of the game but at least there is a chance of getting some allies

wish there was a another version without doubled research time just the ai aggression. i need one bit of tech to help with public order 4 turns to wait for it is crazy. everything else i don't mind

@danwright405 i always skill, research & build into research speed when using this mod. by the time you get close to the late techs you can have tons of characters and buildings with research speed increase so itll be more like 10-20 turns...

hi, I'm sorry to bother. Is there any chance you could bring some modifications such as reintroduce 1 year per turn gameplay, or leave 4 tpy but but make Ai concentrate more on defending (still strongly) his borders and building up its own economy. I just feel it's weird when Ai (Rome or Arverni) conquers like 3 cities ad only 6 years has passed. It wouldn't be much historically realistic.

Does this increase AI unit size? I was playing as Sparta with next to no manpower and regularly facing 3+ doomstacks from Rome and other Barbarians a turn on very hard. I'm looking to restart on normal but don't want to face that type of crap again

3.All soft ui images/new bulding/units picture

I haven't played this in a while, but started up a game as Armenia and noticed that within about 30-35 turns, Kartli had a stack of 6+1 footguards (general), and 3 heavy sword infantry with 80 armor. This vastly outclasses the T2 barracks spearmen + mercenary spearmen that I have in my king's army, and the Kartli upkeep for those units is incredibly low. Is this part of the mod now? I remember the AI armies being more... realistic in composition with lots of levy/regular troops, missile units, and a few elite/noble units.

There are some versions of this submod on TWC that don't have the CAI parts if you are interested in that.

This is my go-to submod for Rome; but when I play for economic wins, this mod is too harsh. Everything in this mod is perfect, even for economic wins, except for the increase in AI aggression. If there were a variant that omitted the "total war" playstyle of AI aggression, I wouldn't have to disable this mod when I feel like playing different styles. Just some feedback. Great submod.

Yeah the only bad things about this mod is the diplomacy go to toilt and is almost useless... If you could lower the will to make war a BIT. I get attacked by faction that are frienly to me lol. (50+ green point)

Is there any possibility of adding some realism to this mod vis-a-vis allies/diplomacy? The aggressiveness is great for enemies, but for alliances and diplomacy it makes it pretty unrealistic since everybody hates you so much.

I also would like to second Sir_Tobie. It would be great if a version of this mod without the ai agression could be made. Or better yet, a version in wich the agressiveness is increased, but not too much. (The way the agressiveness is set now, even my allies hate me)
