Much appreciated in 2021. Bethesda should have kept this in the game; Haafingar needs more settlements. Still looking for chest keys lol.

about missing voice lines, it should be fully voiced for all i remember (recycled vanilla voice bits), what was missing?

Enjoyed this, especially the lush detail of the interiors with many hidden treasures. Apart from missing voice lines the whole thing felt like it could have been part of the official game.

@ kurtrhinehart: sry for late answer, i'm not on steam that much currently
yep, the quest is triggered by entering irontree mill location, and that's a vanilla location (and the cell it's in in my mod is the actual "irontree mill" cell from vanilla game data), so if more than 1 mod uses it, i guess the later one in your load order will "get" it.

It's okay, I've worked out the problem. I have been using another mod called "Cutting Room Floor" which includes Iron Tree Mill and its characters but in a location south of Dragonbridge. For some reason approaching this mill triggers the quest. I temporarily disabled it and was able to complete this mod successfuly. Quest played out well, good job. A:whiterun: nicely done little mod :)

Afraid the quest is bugged. I speak to Trilf and head to the mill, but the bandits never show up. I go into the mill and Trilf and his brother are already there. There is no option to complete the quest I am afraid.

@ bdubs: haven't noticed anything specifically remainder like looking in the area, you happen to know a name or any other further details? anything you got increases odds to find it in the editor.

...as for bringing it to life, i doubt so. originally, i planned on returning to skyrim for a bit whenever i needed a break from modding fo4, but now with the game (and with it the remaining user base) split in 2, and me not having the super-duper-edition or whatever the name is, i actually don't really think it's worth the effort to start something new

I read somewhere that there was going to be a market just down the road from Lakeview near the lumber mill that never made it into the game. It was to be a open air lakeside market. I was curious if you know anything about that and thought about bringing it to life?

@ lionsilverwolf: hm, they're all editor placed iirc (been a while), so not showing up isn't actually an option for them. did you try to fast travel elsewhere and back? maybe they just fell off a ledge and don't find back or something? and you've been inside, right? cuz that's where 2 of the 3 bosses are (sleeping most of the time, for a little hint) :-)

It's a so great work you made, simple, well conceived, perfect ! It's exactly the type of small quest I would like to see more in this game, simple and immersive. And the interiors are impressive by their quality.

oh, so cutting room floor's by arthmoor? tough competition :-) (had i known that mod existed before i started that little series here (first heard of it from a comment on my "barleydark farm" mod), i'd probably have not started it anyway, but well that's just how it goes i guess :-)

@ ajosra: i definitely do not have two copies of actors nor locations nor any other type of unintended or dirty edits in this mod, you can check for yourself with tes5edit any time
(or by clicking stuff with the console open, 1st 2 digits of the id identical means same mod, if not, it's another one.)

but: both Steirod and Trilf are VANILLA actors that just haven't been used in the actual game;
and from what i've heard, there's a couple other mods that restore unused content (one's name is stg like "cutting room floor" or along that lines for example), so you apparently use another mod that adds Steirod and Trilf (and whatever location in dragonbridge that may be.), but there's most definitely no more than 1 of each of them in this one.

You do realize that you have two copies of both Trelif and Steroid in the game world right? You have a duplicate loaction around Dragons's Bridge with houses that you added. Is this a left over part from a pervious version you left in by mistake?

"live another life" never worked for me, always crashed my game for some reason.

"Live another life" is the one I use, and "cheater's chest" where each skill book teaches 10 levels. I dont lvl up to 80 tho. I do about 1 or 2 books on a few I need,then do the rest by finding books inworld and invoking the "quick learning" spell before reading. I find I enjoy the game a lot better at lvl 15 than lvl 60 heheh
