I had no idea there was a self-destruct mechanism. Unfortunately, the process that's supposed to move the escape pods is completely busted. I don't know exactly what's going on, but from the looks of things, the logic is sound, it's just that the "phys_thruster" objects aren't pushing anything forward. I might have to do some experiments of my own to see what's wrong...

Little late, but... @Blue Eyes and @Federal_sandwich If it's anything like the original, on the upper deck section of the engine room at the rear of the ship there are two levers (one on either side). You need to activate these two levers at the same time (is possible solo if you activate and sprint straight to the other one), this will open vents on the engine/drive. Throw an explosive in there like a grenade or hit it with a rocket, that should start the self-destruct like sequence.

Again, that's if it's anything like the original.
