edited to fix a typo I had made and just noticed
If you take 1kg of iron ore with a purity of, let's say 80% (this is super pure by the way) and lets say it is only rock and iron in it, you would get 70-80% Iron, the usable gravel (that isn't dust) is usually not even 50% of the volume.
This mod is not realistic either, but it is also alot more balanced than what is suggested :P
This is not inputing energy and outputing work were you would not be wrong

also gravel need to be proccessed futher to metals where 1 equal to 1 and not 1 equal to thin air
