Now that these tubes have been superceded by Argual Industries - Maintenance Tunnels, if you changed the pipes to rusty metal the effect would fit beautifully with 'shabby' look ships.

I appreciate the German, but what's so dangerous about the thing being grounded and shorted-out? Usually you'd find things like 'Achtung! Gefährliche Spannung! Lebensgefahr!'
It's a good mod, though, just what SE needed for compact designs.

one thing you could do is suround the tubes with the light/heavy armor blocks as a verient that you could make

Ah, because I've made some emission maps using Shaostoul's guide as a reference. As long as it doesn't affect performance it should be fine. Thanks, I will take a look at it. It's stand alone from Unity and doesn't require it?

@Mazen IIXIS - Haven't had the chance to look at the emission map, probably trivial. The SBC editor is basically an XML node editor that I made in Unity. It's not the best, but it is a visual way to mod SE. Link here: http://masterchef365.weebly.com/sbcedit.html

@Masterchef365, you was saying that the emission map was acting weird and glowing? The only reason why it would be doing that is because the emission map's green channel is set to white. If it's set to black it should not emit any lights at all.

I see you removed the node based editor. What does it do exactly?

@flori1994 Not as of late, unfortunately. I've been doing automated vision for the First Robotics Competition, and a few other projects, and high school. This takes up a lot more of my time. Additionally, SE is kinda in a bug fixing phase so it's not really gonna change much if I develop now. Once SE starts adding features again, and/or I have time I'm willing to spend, updates will come back. Thank you for your patience.

Why are there no other mods like this!? The ONLY thing this mod needs is a 9hopefully vanilla looking-ish) door that would fit on the end of a tube, like an 'access hatch'

My only (serious) complaint about this mod is that the block texturing only lines up properly with adjacent blocks when they are in a single particular orientation. This makes and corner or T blocks have the lights, signs and tubes lining the walls not match up with the next block when rotated to three of the four angles... It's just a visual issue, I know, but I like continuity in my textures. :P

That air vent + door idea, combined with some of the vents themselves having doors, would make this mod perfect for me.

I second Air Vent block remodelled to work as a door, so that these would literally act as the air vent system from Alien everyone wants!! :steamhappy:

This is brilliant. Makes ship design much more fun. This would be perfect if there was a 3-way corner piece (not a T) and a 4-way and 6-way version. Also, a door that acts like a vent would complete the mod. Now I can bail out of my cockpit down my tubes to my emergency escape ship!

Great mod! I'm using it right now to construct a ship with tubes instead of corridors. However, I'll also add my vote for 4-way and 6-way junctions. Seriously needs them.

Meh, Digi it doesn't matter too much in terms of size. Also, I'm allowing other people to use the blender files if they want, it's all my work anyway. Thanks for telling me the issue with the affmaps, I think my texture converter setup has it inverted lol

No wonder they're emissive, you got lots of green in the add maps... green as in the RGB channels, not the actual color, so your yellow parts contain green.
Also, the textures are too big for what they offer and you're including lots of stuff that aren't used, like the fbx files and the logs from compiling xD

Great mod! Though, maybe I would have liked it more if it had a more vanilla friendly design and was smaller so you really have to crouch trough it instead of walk.
