This will be really handy, I don't particularly engage wild animals in combat unless I need their pelts to decorate houses. Would also be handy to not have a pack of wolves trying to om nom nom on my legs while I'm engaging Bandits, Assassin's or dragons in combat.

Sir RIvet, I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't.
Sir Rivet 8 May, 2020 @ 7:02pm
does this work with wildcat combat?
Kad Gaming 22 Dec, 2017 @ 10:01am
Velexia Thanks, wasn't sure how to do it.
Velexia  [author] 22 Dec, 2017 @ 8:59am
Kad Gaming, the Legendary Version is Skyrim + All DLCs
DieselWitch 17 Nov, 2017 @ 1:05pm
Love this idea! I'll sub it on my next palythrough tks!
Kad Gaming 23 Oct, 2017 @ 7:04pm
Do you need all 4 versions for it to work? Or just 1 of them?
Velexia  [author] 1 Feb, 2017 @ 5:37pm
I am in total agreement shawolf89 ^_^
shawolf89 1 Oct, 2016 @ 1:22pm
I definitely like the idea of this mod. Besides the fact I dislike killing animals in these games it also gets really annoying having to fight every animal you come across.
Morpheous 20 Sep, 2016 @ 1:08pm
Great job, thx for mod
FakeAmbition 23 May, 2016 @ 12:19pm
this was the best of ideas!:steamhappy:
Thistley 27 Mar, 2016 @ 12:33pm
my followers still attack them ._.
PoopButtassRegret 23 Feb, 2016 @ 11:54pm
all dangerous animals are less agressive while rabbits, goats and chickens should be able to breathe fire, haha that would be amazing
Vattende 14 Feb, 2016 @ 9:34pm
realy nice idea, saw it, added it :)
thanks !
ADisorderlyFashion 5 Feb, 2016 @ 8:28pm
I like the idea behind the mod, but don't think I agree with how exactly the A.I. was executed. Yes, animals are not monsterous being who will attack on sight, but many of the animals in Skyrim will attack if they feel threatened. I would imagine a race infamous for killing them in droves would probably make them feel threatened if they're within about 15 feet from each other.
Velexia  [author] 24 Jan, 2016 @ 11:11am
Yes only normal animals (I included spiders. The larger the spider the more aggressive it is)
JustAnotherGamerNL 24 Jan, 2016 @ 9:09am
This only affects normal animals right? (dragons, draugr etc are still aggresive right?)
Spacejockey 8 Nov, 2015 @ 8:15am
Nice mod, I don't like killing animals even if it's just a game.
Velexia  [author] 26 Oct, 2015 @ 10:50pm
No need to apologize. I hope it's all working for you properly now <3 I actually went into my own game and tested it to make sure. I appreciate your concern :3
ZerixZero 26 Oct, 2015 @ 3:35pm
Ahh I see the problem... I didn't wait 31 days for the animals to be replaced so I guess it was acting a but buggy.

Apologies again on my accusation.
ZerixZero 26 Oct, 2015 @ 3:31pm
I humbly apologize for my accusation then.

I'll resub and try again :3
Velexia  [author] 26 Oct, 2015 @ 11:45am
There's literally nothing in the changes I made that affect stealth detection. You can open it in TES5Edit and look for yourself.
ZerixZero 25 Oct, 2015 @ 10:21am
I'm just saying that without the mod I was able to sneak up to a sabre cat from behind, basically right on him, and still get a sneak attack.

With the mod I got about 50 feet from the thing in sneak mode and it does a 180 and starts growling at me and i'm detected.
Velexia  [author] 25 Oct, 2015 @ 7:34am
Well, to be clear, I did not increase any of their ranges. So if they are detecting you at a certain range, they would have been detecting and attacking you before. I made no changes to their ability to detect stealth.
ZerixZero 23 Oct, 2015 @ 10:21pm
It kinda makes it so that the animal instantly notices you at a range even when you're in sneak mode.

Made it impossible for me to get a sneak attack with my bow, let alone any dagger.
0o 20 Oct, 2015 @ 12:43am
Neat.

Never did like fighting animals to the death.
Nascu 5 Oct, 2015 @ 6:26pm
Nioce mod 8m80s out of m89
Velexia  [author] 2 Oct, 2015 @ 6:35pm
Fluttertree, yes, True Wolves of Skyrim changes meshes and textures. This mod changes AI Data. They are perfectly compatible.
toby 2 Oct, 2015 @ 2:33pm
Is it compatible with True Wolves of Skyrim?
Woozerd 1 Oct, 2015 @ 3:43pm
:D found it c: thanks Velexia!:steamhappy:
Raexer 1 Oct, 2015 @ 11:16am
This I've got to try on my Wrath / champion of nature character. It does get old having every single animal on the whole world map attack on sight, especially playing my druid character that is supposed to be keenly tuned to animals.
Pancccakes 30 Sep, 2015 @ 6:00pm
Your mods are fantastic!
lootsorrow 30 Sep, 2015 @ 2:12pm
Great idea, subbing
Velexia  [author] 30 Sep, 2015 @ 4:34am
You are free to use my mod's changes in whole or in part in your own ^__^

This goes for anyone.
Exodus 30 Sep, 2015 @ 3:28am
I'm currently building a mod that changes a lot of Skyrim's gameplay dynamics my second in fact, this idea you have is realistic and not mainstream, I would never plaugerize your mod, but would like to use your idea in my mod and wondered if you would be offended if I did, normally I would just reccommend yours to my subscribers but I want to do spawning and stats differently plus it kind of makes sense for nearly all enemies to flee when health is low to add to confusion of the combat thanks for your work and time.
Velexia  [author] 29 Sep, 2015 @ 11:28pm
I use Deadly Dragons (which comes with Deadly Monsters) to make my enemies tougher. You can increase their health, stamina, magicka, melee damage, armor, resistances, and magic damage all individually for each enemy type. I also like Deadly Combat mixed with Combat Evolved to make the fights more than just two piles of hitpoints swinging until one falls...

And I use SkyTweak to make health regen more or less nonexistent (0 health regen in battle, and .10 health regen out of battle as opposed to .70 default)

I typically set the Animals at +200% health and 50 armor in Deadly Monsters. 150% might be good too.
EmeraldPhoenix 29 Sep, 2015 @ 7:48pm
FND, if you think yo're up to it, try Requiem. You should read up on it first to make sure you'll like it though. It changes A LOT.
Aweega 29 Sep, 2015 @ 5:49pm
you know what I've been looking for? I want to get into another good, long playthrough of skyrim that will be very memorable. This mod will really help, but I need a mod that will make enemies more difficult (Like, wolves will be pretty strong and you can really feel the difference between enemies) the standard difficulty settings in Skyrim just don't feel very good. Any suggestions on making a fun, memorable playthrough of skyrim? (I have mods like Frostfall and such)
Couch 29 Sep, 2015 @ 5:05pm
This really helps with anyone trying to do any sort of pacifist run. Having to dodge wolves and sabre cats to pass between the holds was tedious at best. Now if only we could disable the mandatory boss fights every other dungeon.
wisdomknowledgeandskill 29 Sep, 2015 @ 2:21pm
this is so neat-- like real animals! xD :D :D :D
The Sweetroll is a Lie 29 Sep, 2015 @ 11:39am
I thought the point of skyrim's animals acting like monsters because it was either constantly mating season or they were always STARVING.

Velexia  [author] 29 Sep, 2015 @ 3:02am
That does mean that like, 99% if not all of your creatures will work as soon as you install it =P
RandomDwarf 29 Sep, 2015 @ 12:20am
awww
Velexia  [author] 28 Sep, 2015 @ 9:18pm
Demonfang, only to change animals that have already spawned. The fastest way to do this is to open the console and type "set timescale to 9000" close the console, and wait about 40 seconds. Then open again and type, "set timescale to 20" (or any number between 1-20, whatever you like... it's the number of hours that go by in game for every real-time hour).
Fury Road Warrior 28 Sep, 2015 @ 8:51pm
So thanks for this. Well done.
Fury Road Warrior 28 Sep, 2015 @ 8:50pm
I always felt really bad seeing a family of wolves that chased me for miles- forcing me to turn around and kill them with a heavy heart.
Yeah yeah call me a wussy, but i love animals too much. XD
RandomDwarf 28 Sep, 2015 @ 8:20pm
so i need to wait inside a building for for a entire month in order for this to work?
Velexia  [author] 28 Sep, 2015 @ 12:04pm
Diaz, the Legendary version (and also individual DLC versions) will be uploaded later today, promise =)
rezlllood 28 Sep, 2015 @ 9:47am
