Great series enjoyed the final leg of the run.

Finally finished playing all six scenarios and thoroughly enjoyed the rolling plains and mountain grades of Marias Pass. Out of the American routes this one is always a favourite :Semaphore:

Very nice Joshua.... You should consider doing a precursor on Stevens Pass, then continuing via this set, then over the Hi Line, and then finishing on the Aurora rote. Take the Z train all.the way!

Thanks very much, both of you!
LeadCatcher 26 Aug, 2017 @ 7:42am
Joshua - I completed your entire run which was extremely enjoyable -- the series does give you the feel of American Railroading at its finest -- moving large loads over long distances. Thank you for taking the time to build these scenarios and sharing them with the community

I have completed the 6th scenario of this series and the only I can say is "chapeau". All six scenarios very well done. I have played with the MLWAudio Searchlight SImulations GEVO enhancer and that has added more joy to the runs. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758907315

Very Very Very Excellent Finale part to the whole thing. It was an awsome 6 part scenario. I couldn't have done it better myself. I will probably do it again in the future.

dtsba5: I'm glad you enjoyed the series. I appreciate your kind comments. More to come.

Great completion to an excellent series. Appreciate the attention to detail: realistic consists, locos at fueling rack, etc. Also, the level of interactive messages are good. Thanks for your work on this.

I'm glad I got Marias Pass before it was made US only. I really enjoyed all six parts of this scenario. Thank you for the great work joshuaharkness :steamhappy:

Scouser888: Thank you for your interest and comments. I'm glad you enjoyed part 6 and I hope you enjoy the rest of the series too. The braking isn't very accurate on this route. Braking on a mile long train is a lot harder than this route simulates it as. If you want a real US freight challenge, then I suggest you get Soldier Summit, which has very realistic braking physics.
Scouser888 13 Oct, 2015 @ 6:45am
A very enjoyable run. I really liked the time of day and weather/lighting. I tend to prefer UK passenger runs, but US freight operations are fascinating in their own right. Somehow, I ended up running this scenario before trying the preceeding five, I will correct this forthwith. Fabulous braking on these locos, despite the heavy train, and they can easily handle the down gradients. Highly recommend.

Surrey, Josh. :) I usually just look at the pictures first. You know ... gurls and imagination. :)
Taconic Simulations  [author] 12 Oct, 2015 @ 5:37am
Schaninsche: If you read the description you'll see that this is the sixth part of a six part scenario. So no, this scenario will not continue onto the racetrack. However, I might consider a scenario on the Racetrack with the same train just not a seventh part to the series.
Jillie Vanillie 12 Oct, 2015 @ 2:44am
Will this series continue on the Racetrack? :)
Taconic Simulations  [author] 7 Oct, 2015 @ 3:28pm
Robbie: Agreed. However, I enjoy not having comments from British people saying that my scenarios are too slow or don't have enough traffic. I think BNSF DLC should be availible to all people from North America.
Robbie 7 Oct, 2015 @ 3:03pm
that is really dissapoingting i wish that this never happened and that's probably why train simulator is losing costumers :steamfacepalm:

jacks0n11: Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
jacks0n11 7 Oct, 2015 @ 9:43am
nice run thanks
Chazz the Elder 4 Oct, 2015 @ 10:57am
Robbie has a valid point -- any BNSF rolling stock not already owned by people outside the US is no longer available. I can't buy the BNSF SD75 now from Steam at all. Other games may have different licensing agreements, but DTG's agreement with BNSF was suddenly made US-only by BNSF... a PITA for us hosers. Robbie: are you thinking A-Train (which is Japanese) or Trainz (which is US)? It's possible that Trainz paid extra for exclusivity, which is why TS got shut out...
Robbie 2 Oct, 2015 @ 5:47pm
Well you can understand my fustration with BNSF for banning these DLC products from Stean and Run 8 Train Simulator has none of these issues strange huh:steamfacepalm:

kat55: Thank you for your comments and interest. Marias is a personnal favorite of mine too. More to come.

Agsieg: Thak you very much. I'm glad you have enjoyed the series. Agreed Marias Pass is very beautiful in Train Simulator and in real life.
Taconic Simulations  [author] 2 Oct, 2015 @ 5:20pm
Robbie: I am planning a few scenarios for the SD75 and the RSC BNSF/BN GP38-2.
kat55 2 Oct, 2015 @ 4:40pm
Very enjoyable series. Marias has always been a favourite of mine and you showcased in beautifully. Train was very nicely set up and a pleasure to drive. Thanks for sharing.
Micro and Soft 1 Oct, 2015 @ 4:08pm
Awesome series. It's been a while since I've done a full end-to-end run of this route. Thanks for re-acquinting me with its beautiful scenery
Robbie 1 Oct, 2015 @ 6:02am

tacops: Thank you for your very kind comments and interest. I am planning many more US scenarios, some with Canadian motive power. I really appreciate your support.
Flywheel 30 Sep, 2015 @ 10:33pm
Well what a splendid series, + 1 to all of the nice comments below, thank you so much. You may need abreak i think.
tacops 30 Sep, 2015 @ 7:39pm
Just about to start this last leg. The previous 5 parts have just been awesome. DTG could learn a lot from you about scenarios, train meets, restrictions, etc. You kept it very interesting and just the right length on each leg of the journey. Please do similar scenarios on other US routes! And as a request, some foreign power, if that's an option. I have no idea. I don't build'em, I just run'em. Thank you again for all your hard work on a project with zero flaws!
Taconic Simulations  [author] 30 Sep, 2015 @ 7:20pm
Robbie: Thanks for your kind comments. I am planning scenarios for Marias Pass and Stevens Pass.
Robbie 30 Sep, 2015 @ 4:45pm
nice run but anymore scenarios for Marias Pass route coming soon or Stevens Pass
kengilbertson 30 Sep, 2015 @ 2:31pm
Nice finishing run. thanks for all the work making this long series.
blacey4 30 Sep, 2015 @ 12:43pm
It was fun to take one train the entire length of the Marias Pass route. I hadn't done that in a while. Thanks for sharing. Good job!
Taconic Simulations  [author] 30 Sep, 2015 @ 11:00am
CapedCrusader92: Thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated. As for a continuation on the Racetrack, you'll just have to wait and see.
E85_STi 30 Sep, 2015 @ 10:43am
Nice series. Are you going to continue it on the Racetrack route?
