Been trying to figure out how to remove the helicopter terminal in the Sunset Harbor update. I mean, how did you managed to remove the buildings to get that completely flat template?

@frosch1007 This might be a bit late but I think I found what you are looking for. If you take a look here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1869641527 there is a fully functional cargo station with multiple truck entrances and a sub-building if you want to add the function to a custom building.

hi@ all does anyone know how to get an 2nd etrance? like 2 trucks enter the building at the same time? vanilla is set to one exit one entrance...which could cuase an ugly traffic flow and crowd (even an traffic sponge exceeds) i would appreciate anyone who can tell me!

I was trying to make a Truck enter from the left, exit from the right version of this Cargo Station for oneway roads (rather than enter from right and exit from the left). However, a peculiar thing happens in which the trucks and vehicles will travel almost to the exit cargo lane, turn around and go back to the entrance. I'm a bit baffled why that is, would you have any clue?

@Simmun yes, yes it does - but it's sort of.. basic and functions just the same as the normal Cargo Station Terminal :).

Normal player can DIY a cargo station with it if u have subscribed the Find it mod.

Hi, I couldnt find a way to send you a PM so Ill write it here. Im no mod maker i just got an idea, that perhaps someone could pick up: what if we could make a mod that allows to sellect what type of cargo (freight, oil, ore, forest, farming) can be loaded/unloaded at this specific station? - I think that would allow community some more control and therefore let us create better functioning cities with some more traffic control. Would be great!

And then to also to make the stations be load or unload only for the same reason.

Or perhaps would be faster and easier instead of a mod to make for example one cargo type only version of a station?

Anyway, just an idea, cheers and keep up the fanstastic work!

I searched through all tabs... nothing :) I remember, when I first took a look at the mod some months ago, I could add cargo connections without any problems. That's a bit strange :)

Hi, many thanks for your cool cargo train terminal template and all the other amazing CS publications. May I ask you something? I have some trouble using More Network Stuff mod. I cannot find the cargo connection prefab. I already added all other prefabs successfully. But cargo connection is missing :) Btw, I reinstalled CS two weeks ago and resubscribed to MNS mod. Nothing happened. Is there something I overlooked?

How do you mark the truck paths? I have More network stuff and prefab hook, do you use the pedestrian connections? Any particular type? Can you do corners or do they have to go straight in/out?

Awesome work, BloodyPenguin.

I've been wanting to have a play with the cargo terminal as I found it game-breakingly slow, so this is the perfect blank canvas. I've played around with the paths to speed up the traffic flow through the vanilla version but I can't create any buildings so it looks butt-ugly: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=661108379 - if anyone wants to use this as a template to create a more efficient cargo terminal, I'd really appreciate it!

Edit - updated the file to be ploppable without roads and made a few other tweaks, but got a new file on Steam when I tried the upload from in game... >_<

Has yourself or anyone you know of made progress with creating custom cargo harbours? I've been searching around and no one seems to have any XD That is pretty much the last building you can't use a replacement for and are stuck with the ugly default one haha.

You mean that the unity default axis is a left-handed coordinate system and in my mind I think wrong when I've tried to fix the spawn point?

hello, I want to rework my cargo train station but I need badly your help: for the truck spawn/unspawn coordinates, where the 0 of the x,y,z is based on, the arrow from the front, midlle of asset or the train track. I can't figure it out ;-(

@ravenz Yes, I can release a cargo harbor template. Cargo hub template is unlikely until asset editor suports subbuildings.

since i know nothing in coding it will help me a lot to finish my project of cargo train coming in front on a 1way and exiting other side of station

Hello Mr Mod Genius! :) is it possible and complicated to make a sunken cargo station with this? I'd like to feed commercial building in my city to avoid ridiculous truck trafic but vanilla station looks really ugly in town :(
it would be nice to bury it but I've never made a real serious asset like this and have no modding skill :/

@GCVos Shroom's station works fine IMO. Since AD came out many older assets produce such warning even it they didn't previously. And it's not author's problem. Hopefully, CO will fix that in the future.

I read thru the last pages just now, it's a shame Shrooms doesnt work well. @GCVos Talk to @Shroomblaze. He was almost successful making his station with improved traffic flow but he got disconnected warning and stopped working on it because of that.

I'm not an expert modder, but have read this discussion with interest.

I've been looking for a larger cargo station for a long time now, if possible with multi-tracks.

Don't forget to enable multiple colours if possible ;)

Perhaps it will be possible to add soe cranes to the empty lot ?

Curious what the end result will be.

@GordonDry No because I have zero texturing skills and my 3D modelling skills are also very minor. I was experimenting with this templete and I was able to change the paths and the despawn coordinates of trucks to avoid the stupid 90° turns.

This is related to my own custom station for anyone wondering, not the subscribed one above.

Im still getting problems with the station.

I was getting trash sign a lot so I made 0 trash accumilation, that worked, but Im getting burglar and high crime sign and it wont go away. I even put 3 large police stations next to it after connecting the 2 roads in the middle and still wont go away. Is there any way to fix that or even just disable crime all together so I don't have to deal with that icon?
