I'm missing textures after unsubscribing from some addons to make some space, some of those were Garrygrad content. Does any of this map happen to have content from those packs? I do have Ep2 and CS:S installed.

I think i've fixed the autoswitching problem. Just type in the console "ent_fire trigger_multiple disable" with out the quotes and it should disable the automatic switching. I got this command from gm_trainset and for me it has appeared to work on this map too. to re-enable autoswitching just type "ent_fire trigger_multiple enable" without the quotes into the console. Hope this helps!

Also, I hear people in this comment section talking about auto switching. Im using CBH's trains and it has not happened to me though I originally used Sligwolfs stuff on the tracks. I guess it depends on what trains you use. Anyway, Im very happy with this map now that im not having anymore issues with missing textures or autoswitching. The sounds, stations, buildings, tracks, and more that are on raillink truly makes it an amazing trainbuild map. Thank you for making this map ElfNet and have a great rest of your day!

I got the Starpass map and played on it for a bit. I went back onto the raillink map and I now see the textures that were missing for me. I appreciate your help :steamhappy:

@BN LoDeStaRz - Those are custom textures and should have been included with the map.. IDK whats going on there.. You can try the GM_Starpass map and see if that fixes it. that map used those textures also though the map is not usable itself with modern train truck sets (bogies).

this is a rather decent map that supports both gauge 1 and standard gauge. but it could use a little work. but it's still rather good.

I do have CSS:GO well the materials and the maps but I do not have EP2 so do I need the games becasue my parents don't like shooting or seeing anything violent so do I just need the materials for these?

The tracks are not designed for sligwolf's stuff, if you want to run those you need to go on gm_wireconstruct or something of the sort.

Most of the switches false triggers, when Sligwolf's long carriages are passing on them, causing derail. Is this a bug or switches are not suitable for this?

Becasue Metrostroi trains are not compiled properly. I made a similar mistake way back when I made train models and the hit boxes were all screwed up.

the tracks are automatic, if your train model is poorly designed with bad hit boxes it will false trigger the switch.
All of JazzLok, magnums, Unions, Sligwolf, and the American Loco addons work on this map.

You need to take the issue up with the guy who made the Metrostroi add on.

Why do metrostroi based trains spawn in mid air over the rails, and why do the track switches go back to their default position just when your about to go over them with a train, this needs fixing(if possible)

There is something in the fountain that makes huge fps drops. Is not the map size or the trees.
When i'm not looking at the fountain the game runs excellent.
Other than that, it's a great map, Elfnet. ;-)

Track issues need to be taken up with Magnum, the creator of the track pack, and Sligwolf, the creator of the trains you are using. I cannot do anything about those premade models. Both have known issues with certain tracks and arrangements.

Some of the tracks not the gauges but the regluar tracks have a bump in thaem that wont allow the sligwolfe trains to go over them without crashing like some bridges and the cross in the street so that going to get patched? i know this isnt on the forms but it says 404 for them :/
