Please check out my TWC thread here and I guess it could help.

There is a section for modders:
"Information for modders about how to adapt the fix to your mod"
You don't need to activate the mod while your playing the campaign. It doesn't affect campaign gameplay, so it must be another mod which conflicts and freezes.
Your mod running well in campaign because i always freeze when end turn and battle
It still works fine. It just shows out-of-date as I didn't updated the mod anymore after the last Mod-Launcher Update.
Yes but for a campaign this mod isn't needed.
It is only for custom battle. But you can leave it activated while playing the campaign, but it doesn't do anything in the campaign.
It still works fine. It just shows out-of-date as I didn't updated the mod anymore after the last Mod-Launcher Update.
It depends on this:
- If you use a mod which changes/includes the important database table factions, then this mod isn't compatible with this fix. Big overhaul mods or gameplay changing mods include this table. The modder of this mod can of course adapt this fix into his mod.
Rise of Mordor is a big overhaul mod which normally includes this special table. And its a complete overhaul with another time frame (Lord of the Rings). I guess my mod doesn't work with it.
Great that it works now.
Yes I created a small tutorial on Total War Center about how to customize unit packs. This can be used of course also to adapt other mods.
[Tutorial] How to customize unit packs
https://wiki.twcenter.net/index.php?title=How_to_customize_Unit_Pack_Mods
Unit stats values are in the database table "land_units_tables". Cost/upkeep values are in the database table "main_units_tables".
It works now. I downloaded the Custom Battle Fix Mod. Did you happen to know an easy way to edit unit stats in Attila, like attack, defense, etc., as well as allow units to be apart of other factions?
Thanks man!
Yes the Medieval 1212AD is a big and complete overhaul of the game and it uses the important database table "factions" which my mod uses too. So yes it is not compatible with this overhaul, but all modders are allowed to use my fix in their own work of course. I created a tutorial on my TWC thread how to implement my fix to every mod.
Nice that my mod is useful to so many players! Have fun!
STEAM > Library > Total War Game > Options > Betas > choose "launcher_release_candidate"
If you want to use later again the new launcher, then do the same process and choose > Betas > NONE - unsubscribe from all betas
Here are the detailed infos:

It's recommended that you put the Attila Custom Battle Crash Fix as high as possible in the loading order of the new launcher.
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?699714
Great that this worked! This hint is useful for basically all TW games if something is strange or crashes the Custom Battle Screen.
As this crash isn't related to my mod, instead to entries which can't be loaded anymore by the Custom Battle Screen if mods change somehow or are removed.
You could try to solve it this way:
If the custom battle screen crashes, then please remove all files in these two folders below.
C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila\battle_preferences
C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila\army_setups
Crash of the game:
If your game crashes you could re-download changed "vanilla" files and verify the integrity of the game:
> Open Steam > click on my games > right-click on Attila > left-click on properties > then look for the Local files tab and click on Verify the integrity of the game cache
There you can re-check the integrity of your Attila files. It takes some time, but after updating you have again all proper vanilla files.
Then re-activate the mods again.
Thanks!
Yes unfortunately this bug is in both Rome 2 and Attila.

Thanks and have a nice start of the week too!
Try to delete all files in these two folders:
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila\army_setups
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila\battle_preferences
You could try the following:
- unsubscribe my mod
If your game crashes you could also re-download changed "vanilla" files and verify the integrity of the game:
> Open Steam > click on my games > right-click on Attila > left-click on properties > then look for the Local files tab and click on Verify the integrity of the game cache
There you can re-check the integrity of your Attila files. It takes some time, but after updating you have again all proper vanilla files.
- re-subscribe my mod
