@DRuPpl. In a perfect world that would be wonderful. However, I got a lot of IRL stuff going on right now.

And I'm not sure my view of the game and the mods I created back then matches with the view I have today with the current version of Space Engineers. Also, my modeling skills are not the best. Takes alot of time and hard work to update all the mods. :/

are You going to give Your Mods a final update, after the full version of SE is released next week?
:KOh:

I will no longer support or update any of my mods. This is because of the lack of time and energy from my side to maintain mods in working order. I will focus on just playing and enjoying games for now. I might get back to modding in the future.-creator of mod

Anyone know why these drills aren't conveying? I've even added the appropriate xml to useconveyor true

Are the large ship drills ever going to get fixed? I really love this drill mod when it was working, and would really like to go back to useing it.
Leon 9 Feb, 2017 @ 2:00am
i have the same problem
Onslaught5000 21 Jan, 2017 @ 7:57am
Is it just me or are the large and medium drills broken on large grids. I can only get the large drills to work on small ships. Can anyone tell me how i can fix this?

Probably one of my most favorite mods. It does very well under pressure I like to get a modded piston with high power and range and just lower this drill into a planet's core, works very well. Other than a little wobble time to time.

are these ballenced and do they replace the vanila drills
Dakroth 8 Feb, 2016 @ 7:25am
Scratch my last. I believe I've discovered the problem: My drilling angle. I tend to drill at an angle relative to the voxel grid, so I don't get a nice, flat wall in front of me; rather, it is jagged and often curved on one edge or another. That's what I'm hitting. When I take the time to identify and line up with the voxel grid orientation, they drill just as well as any other. Never mind me!

@Ravenbolt Hey, just wanted to let you know that I think I have found an issue with these. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or what, but it feels like the medium and large drills - small grid - are not as efficient as vanilla drills. When using your drills, I seem to notice that I have to wait for two or three "chunks" to be ground out before I can advance without hitting the wall in front of my ship. My current ship uses two large drills surrounded on top and bottom by a total of six vanillas. The vanilla drills were added to make the hole just a bit bigger so I could easily fit in it, but after they were installed it feels like I can progress thorugh an asteroid much faster. Not sure how you would check thuis or if it can even be modified (or if it even exists,) but just so you're aware.

@Зимний No, a block gains its full mass as soon as it is placed. I use gyroscopes to right my ships when they tip over because of this. Weight is dependent on components required, I do believe, but not on how many of the components are actually installed.
Cheetah 21 Dec, 2015 @ 8:17am
I dunno if they can be made lighter by just grinding off excessive plates.
Drayst 21 Dec, 2015 @ 7:59am
The weight depends on the components and in this case on the huge amount of steel plates. I think, the bigger variants could be a little bit cheaper and therefor lighter.
JamieRamsey2005 8 Dec, 2015 @ 3:43pm
This is one of my favorite mods. Unfortunately it doesn't do well with planets due to the high mass. Is there anyway to get a lower weight version or rebalance? Rotors can't even raise these in gravity wells.
Cheetah 13 Nov, 2015 @ 6:22am
Uh, no - it seems that all drills now have some time to break down a rock and produce dust. (Haven't played for a long time)
Cheetah 13 Nov, 2015 @ 6:13am
Seems that the hitbox is too small. Compared to Azimuth drill - and even the vanilla one - it barely drills!

@Ravenbolt dont know where to ask, but can u make mod like THIS ? but in your own style and dx11 supported please???
Snappio 24 Oct, 2015 @ 4:56am
cool mod
Energy 23 Oct, 2015 @ 7:20pm
Not sure how it will work, but I think I will sitck with the EarthBreaker Drill.
Ravenbolt  [author] 21 Oct, 2015 @ 8:12pm
@McCLoaud Jr: No, it have small vanilla conveyors. If you want one that works, look at my compact micro tools. That drill have compact conveyors.
McCloud Jr 21 Oct, 2015 @ 2:35pm
well the small drill work with your compact conveyor's?
Ravenbolt  [author] 20 Oct, 2015 @ 11:50pm
@dastormdragon. The mexpex one. Yeah that is real cool!
DSD 20 Oct, 2015 @ 11:12pm
of the currently-out ones, the big tunnel bore one
Veter 20 Oct, 2015 @ 10:01pm
Perfect! This is what we need in vanilla game! I hope devs will add this in game...
Ravenbolt  [author] 20 Oct, 2015 @ 12:56pm
@Dastormdragon. What is your favorite? :D
jarhead 20 Oct, 2015 @ 12:19pm

now just to see if ksh will make this vanilla
DSD 20 Oct, 2015 @ 7:51am
awesome, but not my favorite
Greisyn 18 Oct, 2015 @ 9:29am
Yet another awesome mod! keep up the great work raven :steamhappy:
Daniel L Parry 18 Oct, 2015 @ 7:21am
Awesome, I personally prefer the large drills look to the small one, so having this is really nice Thanks for your time and effort to make it available
Mojo 17 Oct, 2015 @ 4:07pm
What I think would be cooler would be the Vanilla small ship drill for the large ship, or something similar, dont get me wrong you did a great job with this, I just dig the look of the small ship vs the large ship. :)
Lord Wraith SOL3 17 Oct, 2015 @ 3:55pm
nice
