Hey Nilas, I have no reason to assume you still mod for this game, but if you still know how it's done, I'd very much appreciate some help. I've been trying to add units from both the ERE and WRE to the expedition but I can't manage to make them recruitable on the campaign map. I've managed to add them to custom battles but that's as far as I've gotten. If you find the time somewhere and think you'll be able to help me, I'd very much appreciate it. :)

Thanks for commant and interest, but I am sorry to say that I curretly don't create mods for this game. (this may change)

done uploaded two mods, one for eastern and one for western, quick mod to do, don't hassitate to leave a comment if you want anything changed or added.

@artiorias can be done, but just wanna know what you want to change this mod doesn't have tech upgrades. Do you want change the building req around abit?

@Niklas This mod is great and I thoroughly enjoyed it! If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you please make a duplicate of this mod, but with no building/tech requirement? Kind of like your Ostrogoth one :)

@Sol invictus I hade some time to make some moding, so did implement your suggestion in a second mod that are named "Masema - Roman Flavor Last Roman Expedition"

Made some changes ERE Comes get replaced by Bucellarii Guard Cavelry (reason Comes is more in par with Bucellari stat wise, then Magister Militum)

and it is a really good idea, are looking into it as I write this.

Want to have more variaty between the two Roman Factions, but not sure if I going to change this one or upload two flavor mods for the two factions (some ppl may enjoy having all the units in thier faction of choice)

I know atleast that I am going to set abit of Tech requirement on the units.

:) not sure you approve but here some ideas (at least for ERE). This would have the advantage of making the two Roman Empire having different rosters and stats. Maybe all the Federate forces in LR could go WRE to boost up its military...not sure.

Regardless marvellous work whatever you will be doing. :)

As for improvements ideally you could integrate said units better into the Roman rosters so you can show how for example ERE military evolved.

Here some ideas for ERE:
-You could use the Last Roman (LR) Limitanei as standard ERE Limitanei to differentiate them from the ones of WRE (the vanilla one).
-Bucellarii Guard Cavalry as last general upgrade for ERE instead of Magister Militum which remains WRE general upgrade
-Skutatoi as upgrade for infantry in place of Legio Comitantensis for ERE.
-Skutatoi Spears as a upgrade for Comitatensis spear but before Lanciarii Seniores (stronger unit) maybe in tech "Imperial Transport" or "Compulsory Levy"
-The Cataphracti and Climbanarii from LR as default version for ERE.

I'm planning to play as ERE soon and would love the best I can get. Your mod is so good. I'm using the ERE version as now just because of my roleplaying reasons.

Have now upploaded an divided version of this mod, where Part 1 will get you all the units for eastern roman, and the Part 2 gives the expedition units to the western roman.

So you can match how ever you want.

@Sol Invictus, I have added a simple list of what building makes what unit available.
sorry have not the pation today to add the full name of each building. the mod should show what building are building what unit if you hover over them (havn't tested this everywhere but it "should work")

at this moment thier are no tech requirement it should be but, I did throw this mod up, after a comment on my "Masema - Expedition forces added to Grand Campaign" that wanted the units for West and Easter Roman.
So threw this togeather very quickly, but have intention of improving this considering I am myself using this mods regulary.

I can upload a two other version that only add the easter and western sepratly. If you are interested?! :P

Thanks are these units unlocked at specific buildings or tech research? Could you please provide a brief description on how to unlock them in the main campaign?

Little side note. Skutatoi type units should be mostly ERE units as the name is Greek and means "Shield bearers" same goes for Hippo Toxotai which means "Horse Archers".

Is it possible to make these units only available to ERE? or an ERE only version of this mod?
