Please can you convert this into a metro track? Because it only functions as a train track..
dgrad598 2. mar. 2022 kl. 11:05
Wider pillars would be nice to use for running over wide roads or double deck highways.
El Gaucho 28. jan. 2021 kl. 10:17
Love these! except it seems incompatible with the elevated nyc metro station. would it be possible to make this as a metro line rather than train line?
dgrad598 26. aug. 2020 kl. 18:19
Can you make another elevated nyc station with an avenue under it too? I would like to run subway over the ave with this station instead of using mom oversize station.

Hi @MrMaison, it would be wonderful if we could get the prop version of this pillar. Especially would be extremely useful after the release of Sunset Harbour's elevated metro tracks.

A polite request, if you could make prop versions of this [quickly], that would be handy to the community as a number of some your other followers also waiting for this for such a long time.

Thanks!

Any chance of getting a prop version? MOM pillars don't work for me so I have to manually put all of them.
Avder 11. okt. 2019 kl. 9:44
Any chance of a slightly wider version that could sit on the outer edge of sidewalks on a 16m road? Or perhaps with the pillar bases sitting half on the sidewalk and half off such that it could sit on one half of the next2 8 lane road with median without blocking traffic? without blocking zoning of course.

Now that network skins 2 supports monorail, I've been using monorail with these pillars over 16m roads that don't have monorail as well as 32m median roads with medians that can fit the supports into it.

Would love to see a version height matched to the monorail as well.

I will make a prop version soon.
freedompata 25. aug. 2019 kl. 1:18
Update?
baronjutter 24. maj 2017 kl. 21:35
Any chance to get this as a prop? I've taken to using prop line tool to place support pillars but am forced to use monorail supports because the default ones don't seem to work as props. Like someone below asked, getting these in 9m and 12m (two most common elevated station heights) would be reallly nice!

Does the No Pillars mod not fucking exist anymore??? IS THIS THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE??
imperstar 24. okt. 2016 kl. 16:19
Hey MrMaison:) is it possible to release the Pillar as a 9 m up to 18m prop, to reduce the distances of the pillars like in real life :)
Harkon 4. aug. 2016 kl. 1:19
As LottoTheKing I also didn't find it in the Network Skins list.
Well, eventually I figured out that the list is longer than it seems and can be scrolled... found this pillar right at the bottom of the list ;-)
Iskra 4. juni 2016 kl. 6:32
Hallo
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2016 kl. 8:08
LottoTheKing- It should be listed in the panel as long as you have Network Skins installed.
LottoTheKing 1. apr. 2016 kl. 2:40
Looks great! But how do you use it? i does not show up in Network Skins?
jackripper 22. jan. 2016 kl. 23:10
excelent work on these mods looks so real I can look at the detail work for a long time hahaha.
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 29. dec. 2015 kl. 17:21
Ithinarine- Glad you figured it out :)
Ithinarine 29. dec. 2015 kl. 17:11
I seem to have figured out the zoning issue at least, have to build a road using the Overlap setting of No Pillars mod, this will make a road without zoning under the rail, then build off of that road with a new road with the Collide function, and the first road will change to having zoning, weird work around, but it works.
Ithinarine 29. dec. 2015 kl. 17:00
I'm having troubles with laying tracks overtop of roads without the tracks trying to complete their construction at the road below, I always have to delete the road, then rebuild the road under the track.

Also not able to build roads with zoning beside them under the track, doesn't matter if I am set to collide or overlap, any roads I build under tracks don't have zoning beside them.
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2015 kl. 16:13
Chris6d- Are you using the "no Pillars" mod? You must set it to overlap in game.
Chris6d 13. dec. 2015 kl. 6:33
I can change the options for the Pillars to make the road go under the train ONLY in the Asset Editor, NOT in the actual city. Somebody needs to tell me why this is and how to fix it, quick.
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 9. nov. 2015 kl. 15:40
Regasaurus14- use overlay with the no pillars mod. But if you want zoning, use the option that allows it. Dont use the default collision mode. Boformer may be making a video tutorial for this soon.
Regakiller 9. nov. 2015 kl. 15:23
How do you make the road go under
GordonDry 6. nov. 2015 kl. 10:08
One per workshop item is way enough, you lazy ppl.
BloodyPenguin 5. nov. 2015 kl. 0:56
@MrMaison Hi! I've updated ETST with narrow tracks as you requested
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 2. nov. 2015 kl. 13:09
K.N.- No you don't have to re-sub. These will be good for the tracks between stations. You can use these pillars in any situation you like. The NYC elevated stations will be a perfect match for this style. Satation pillars are included with the station so you're good.

Frenkie,- Yes, some vandalized pillars will go good with the graffiti trains :)
K.N. 1. nov. 2015 kl. 22:08
When the elevated train station over roads is came. Do we have to re-sub again. or there will be auto-update? thanks
frenkie 1. nov. 2015 kl. 10:48
some tags on it would b great:)
Meteor Daddy 1. nov. 2015 kl. 10:14
Yup. What I'm asking is different.. :D It seems that your pillar, with it's size, holds multiple rails :D
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2015 kl. 9:51
Vexcarius- This is just a replacement pillar for elevated rails. Not a station.
Meteor Daddy 1. nov. 2015 kl. 6:31
How many rails does it have?
GordonDry 31. okt. 2015 kl. 17:19
Thanks for the info.
Actually I'm fiddling with tram avenues, so don't worry I'm not wasting pillars :steamhappy:
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2015 kl. 15:34
Thanks again!

Boformer is working on a mod to replace streetlights. For now, I would avoid putting your rails over roads until that mod is released.
Knight1376 31. okt. 2015 kl. 14:52
3 thumbs up......

pillar changer support I presume?
templeofdoom 31. okt. 2015 kl. 9:18
Hey MrMaison - EXCELLENT work! Those rivets man - looks amazing. I can't tell if they are geometry or just amazing texturing - great work! One question: will this automatically be available upon subscription for Boformers pillar changer mod? Any way you can put some clarification on how this is to be accessed? I have yet to really play with the mod and I'm not sure how to make sure these pillars are accessible in game?
GordonDry 31. okt. 2015 kl. 9:12
I just did a quick test, when a rail track is above a vanilla road the height has to be 15m or the street lights collide with the structure.
Just a hint.
I hope in future when a toggleable road mod comes out (lights, reservatioon barriers, other props to be toggled on / off) it will be possible to attach light beyond an elevated road / rail by toggling.
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2015 kl. 8:47
Fixed
MrMaison  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2015 kl. 8:47
Thanks everyone. Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up Gordan! Forgot to put in another one when I swapped out the preview image.
