I figured it was as you discribed the way the grass tiles are, which it why I only mentioned it. As a thought: I wonder is it possible to purhaps change the color of the ink/shading depending on the object they texture it was on? Such as using a slightly greener colored "ink" in the grass and say a more blue ink on the mountains. That way it would seperate the objects a bit from each other. Compared as it is now with everything the heavy black that kinda drowns them all together. I dunno how you did the original retexture if they are all done seperately or if it was more of a batch all together. I haven't played around enough with the editor or anything to see how that is all done. Will stay tuned and see where this goes, really am intrigued by it. It's cool beans.

+Tode[BTC] I understand where you are coming from. Unfortionately, there isn't much I can to about the "blending together" issue, this is largely limited by the resolution textures Torchlight uses, and the angle the Torchlight camera is positioned. If you ever get a chance to play aroung in GUTS, the TL2 editor, try changing the camera angles and seeing how viewing angles change the detail of the textures as they appear to the viewer.
The grass seams are caused by Torchlight's method of "tiling" textures, which constitutes a slightly green alpha channel over the groung tile(s). It's something I've tried to track down for a while now, and haven't been able to fix as of yet.
Thanks for dropping a constructive comment , though. It's really awesome when someone takes the time to point out things that can legitimately improve. I have no intention of stopping development of this mod, as time permits.

I wanna like this. I can tell a good amount of work went into it and I am compelled by it, but I feel like the shading is a bit too saturated. It tends to make everything blend together and make it all very busy. A bit tiring on the eyes and trying to pick out what all the details are when everything runs together. Just as a side note as well, there appears to be very obvious seems that run between grass textures where the inking lines do not line up. Not sure if this is adjustable or not.

Spent about 4 hours today Replaying pure Synergies. Just because of this mod. The new aesthetic just drew me right back into the TL universe. Thanks! Do you think there'll be an optional expansion to Ink'd that will cover spell/ability effects? It would be so cool to see this kind of, semi-rotoscoped fireballs flying around, etc!

+Justin It won't break FEP, but there will be unmodified textures that half the game will use, so it will looks strange.
Neither Blanks Landmarks or Extra Chunky will cause any problems, as they don't modify any textures, just layouts.

Will this work with mods other than synergies, such as extra landmarks or the far east mod?
It seeems like it would be limited to synergies, but I thought it worth the question.

Some light critique; the indoor dungeons, ESPECIALLY the ones in the Desert Portion, basically look like somebody spilled ink everywhere. I know you were being faithful and the floors were black, but due to the styling it just makes the floors look... odd. Otherwise, i really, REALLY like this mod; it was clearly a labor of love, and it's very well done.

It is a very nice mod, kinda reminds me of Don't Starve in a way. Kinda hard on my eyes but I have issues, not this mod. Thanks again for all the hard work.
