linhyang 4 Sep, 2021 @ 6:50am

Avanya  [author] 12 Dec, 2020 @ 1:10pm
@Copper Gaming: It gets rid of sewage
Copper Gaming 12 Dec, 2020 @ 9:25am
very confused, what does it do
marcilio.lima64 12 Oct, 2019 @ 7:10pm
I'll see if this is goin on... thank you!!
Avanya  [author] 12 Oct, 2019 @ 2:11pm
@marcilio.lima64: If you have the Loading Screen Mod, then make sure to check the options for it. If it is set to only load used assets, then you won't see anything you haven't used in game yet - which would explain why you don't see these.
marcilio.lima64 12 Oct, 2019 @ 12:27pm
Although I have chosen all of these mods, I don't understand why in the game, although they are all enabled, I can't use them. I signed up, activated the mod and it does not appear to use in the game. Why?? Did I install anything that inhibited the use of these and many other assepts and trees?
Can anyone answer this for me?
thanks!!
Avanya  [author] 6 Oct, 2019 @ 12:17pm
@monkey-mads: Det var så lidt. ^^ Godt at høre det var så simpel en løsning. :steamhappy:
Elmonati 6 Oct, 2019 @ 12:10pm
@Avanya yeees it was the loading screen mod options i had to look into, im new to using these assets so wouldnt have thought of that.
Cheers/tak, and i already know ill love it!
Im studying water treatment in Denmark, so its really cool to see :)
Avanya  [author] 6 Oct, 2019 @ 12:02pm
@monkey-mads: Yup, it works. I just used it today. Check the content manager before loading the save and see if it's under Assets. Make sure it's enabled there. If it is then it should show up in game. If you have the Loading Screen Mod, make sure you haven't set it to only load assets used in your city.

If that's all good, then it should be in the Water and Sewage tab. Do you have the arrows to scroll through multiple buildings? It's after all the default ones.
Elmonati 6 Oct, 2019 @ 11:49am
@Avanya So it is updated for the newer dlc's? I cant get them to show up, and i feel like ive tried everything by now.
It is found under the Water and Sewage tab right?

I feel like i saw something about turning off the internet and loading offline, but now i cant find it. Does that sound like something i could try?
Avanya  [author] 6 Oct, 2019 @ 5:56am
@monkey-mads: Yes! :) I use it myself in almost all my cities. Most buildings don't need to be updated when there's a patch, so you can pretty much just assume they work as long as they don't list a mod as a requirement. :)
Elmonati 6 Oct, 2019 @ 2:04am
Can this still be used?
arkwaldr 1 Nov, 2018 @ 9:47am
Been using this for a while now and no problems at all. Provides drinking quality water straight from the toilet! LOL
Masteron 10 Mar, 2017 @ 4:09pm
Oh, now I see the updated description. Ok, no problem, I'll built more towers :) Btw I also had problems with polution, so I moved all water treatment close to natural park :-D
Avanya  [author] 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:24pm
@Masteron: That's intentional. It wasn't working properly on low budgets or early in city development. And I had considered this change for a long time, so they can safely be placed near industry.
Masteron 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:16pm
No flooding after the fix, however, the asset seams to have stopped producing fresh water :( I can always add more water towers, but it was a nice feature
Avanya  [author] 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:29pm
Fix should be up now. It's been too long since I made these I forgot what the "Use ground water" actually did xD
Avanya  [author] 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:22pm
Great to know - I'll get fixes up for them asap! :)
Quinntoligy 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:20pm
Ok so I did a quick check and if you check the use ground water option in the asset editor under the water tab it stops the flooding issure.
Avanya  [author] 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:11pm
Okay, that's stange! Natural disasters added more settings for sewage/water assets, so there's prob something there. I'm on it to fix it!
Synthtronic 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:05pm
Same here
orsa1305 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:03pm
Well, it looks great, but it is floading my city now, pouring out water all over the place lol.
had to remove it.
Quinntoligy 1 Mar, 2017 @ 2:00pm
The update is fooding my city
Peak oil 10 Oct, 2016 @ 12:26am
thank for the Aeration basin its great
Kråkan20 13 Aug, 2016 @ 2:33pm
wow nice work !!!!!
Avanya  [author] 19 May, 2016 @ 3:29am
@|rav| Yeah, the game can't display both water AND sewage pumping capacity, so it just picks one to show. It's the same with all assets that do both. :)
|rav| 19 May, 2016 @ 3:07am
The sewage pumping capacity is not displayed in-game - at least not for me. It works thou.
wabbithunta 3 May, 2016 @ 8:38am
Nice work.. looks like the local "s*** farm" near our place! lol
Findolfin 27 Mar, 2016 @ 7:27am
This thing? Wow I salute you boss
PuppyFlavour 7 Dec, 2015 @ 5:45am
Nice, thank you for making this :)

@Breeze: Here's the script I use. It just swaps between prop and default. :)

Avanya  [author] 7 Dec, 2015 @ 3:24am
@Breeze: Boformer has a script to switch between the prop shader and the building shader. The prop one allows texture below ground. There's a post here about it: http://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/69221-custom-ground-textures-and-other-interesting-prop-shader-tricks/#comment-1596107

@ez1: I get what you mean. I chose a large size as I couldn't really find any small basins. They seem to be about this size or much larger. I'll keep a smaller one ind mind, but for the time being I'm moving on from sewage treatment (need a "change of scenary" :P). Good feedback though! :)
ez1 7 Dec, 2015 @ 2:40am
These water treatment assets are great, as I was thinking for a while that these were needed, especially these rectangular basins, so thank you!

One small crit/suggestion, though: At 8x7 tiles, this is a really big basin for a large city. Could you release a smaller version for smaller towns? I usually build up a water-treatment area as the city grows, adding clarifiers as needed, and this would be great as a modular system as well, with a smaller, oblong base size, something like 2x4 or 3x5.

Anyway, terrific idea and extremely well-executed, thanks again!
Breeze 7 Dec, 2015 @ 1:52am
How did you apply the underground texture?
Avanya  [author] 6 Dec, 2015 @ 6:12am
Tyvm! Glad you like them. :)

@Fredval: Not at the moment, but interesting idea :)
Fredval 6 Dec, 2015 @ 4:42am
All your assets have brought a lot of realism to our cities. Thank you so much ! Any plan for a modular cemetary ? Just asking :-)
Leo Mystic Magic 5 Dec, 2015 @ 8:00pm
Hey looks good, I love normal effect on the water, gives it a lot of motion. :)
kmanno 5 Dec, 2015 @ 1:50am
Your assets really let me detail out my cities. Thank you for making them and please keep them coming. :)
