104954 blocks? could you maybe clear any projectors on it, so it is actually loadable? :)

Hey JD, someone posted a ship that looks near EXACT to the condor (except for a all grey paint coat) and theres no credit. Just thought I would let you know
Keep up the great work

I was going at a bad angle:D
Noko 15 Mar, 2016 @ 12:19pm
Oh Ok, it can sorry
JD.Horx  [author] 15 Mar, 2016 @ 11:46am
I tested it several times, possible that energy requirements or performance have been altered by the devs, or it is you method. Don't know. Try to pull the ship up at an altitude of 4000-5000 m and give full thrust with ions.
Noko 15 Mar, 2016 @ 11:38am
It doesnt seem to be able to leave earth, or is it just my method being bad?

Great work Dude. This has got to be one of the best Dropships on the Workshop. Modded it with Azimuth stuff for my own purposes. High Five and keep it up!

That 'rover' is a small scout vehicle of mine. You can find the Puma in my uploads. And of course the Condor can easily escape planets.
jaxjace 24 Feb, 2016 @ 2:40am
edit also, can you post that rover? im currently sitting with this baby next to my station hanging over the alien planet, wanna go in witha full deck.
jaxjace 23 Feb, 2016 @ 3:05pm
this thing can enter a planet, but can it leave?

Nice ship JD, the only thing I noticed it the Jump Drive is totally exposed. Maybe a sheet of 3x3 glass for protection? I know it saved my tail more than once.
theDINOlorian 10 Dec, 2015 @ 8:09am
It seems like all your ships are inspired by Halo. ;)

Yeah that is my experience as well, even more so since the friction seems to be bound to the size of the wheels as well, for example 4 big wheels do better then 6 medium sized ones, thats the reason modern APC designs don't work so well in terms of offroad capabilities in SE.

Otherwise, nice design as always, although with the atmospheric thrusters bound to planets with a proper atmosphere, no?
JD.Horx  [author] 8 Dec, 2015 @ 3:37pm
Standard setting for friction is 25%
In the hot bar i can tune the friction for all wheels up or down and alter the strength to adapt for most situations. Hill climbing is possible but using a hover tank or a jet is more reliable (sounds ridiculous, but its the truth)
Joshua Norton 8 Dec, 2015 @ 2:34pm
Ok i have to ask this:
How did you set up your wheel/suspension settings for your rover and can it climb hills?
I'm rather frustrated by the lack of friction the wheels ingame produce and wondered how you had them set up :)
