Imo the pants look too dirty downwards. I get the idea about silhouette recognizing and class colour schemes. But maybe the yellow stripe should look cleaner so the pants would, too

This truly seems like something valve would add to the game just to finish the sets

Adding that much team colour to Scout's legs and making them full pants rather than rolled up short type pants seemed to make his legs look unnaturally long. Additionally making this available for multiple classes would have meant each classes version of the item would need to have a lower res texture, as they all need to fit into the same texture space.
