If you know how to unpack the VPK of both this and the HUD you're using, and edited the hudlayout.res file to include the dot, you will get this working with your favorite hud. Highly recommended.

I hate how this mod conflicts with my other hud mods, that means i can't have my custom huds on just to have a little dot on my screen :)

the dot seems to be slightly left of the center of the screen, it's only really noticable with highly accurate weapons like the hunting rifle

It can't conflict. Every crosshair mod just adds its own texture (for the crosshair) and adds a section to hudlayout.res file so game will actually read it. But my L4D2 isn't doing it.

I have no goddamn idea why none of custom crosshairs don't want to work in my L4D2. Of course, in L4D1 I could easily create my own one and it's working like a charm.

I think a white one is not good, maybe you should try the color blind version. It is a white dot with a black outline.

It has the same color as default crosshair's(light blue). The color of image in vpk is RGB(140, 184, 222), but because of image scaling, the actual color is RGB(153, 190, 224).
