This scenario could have been the best dynamic helicopter mission but there's fatal issues that ruins thr fun :
Sometimes the task doesn't start and I can't abort it too,and For some reason Close air support mission is not completeable.

Great mod, lost on how to finish the Water Search and Rescue missions though. I've tried hovering over the rescue boat, assuming those two guys in it are the pilots. I've tried searching the waters in case there are people swimming. Nothing. No sling load icon when over the rescue boat... using a Little Bird if it matters.

Picked up a patrol and dropped them off in a NOE mission, but they won't get out! I'm directly on top of the marker - am I missing something?

Dear Harsinwhite, I love this mission to bits and cant stop playing it would have purchased this if I could, Just a couple of niggles, 1 Rescue downed pilots in the sea no slingload available but slingload is available on civilian speedboat and can rescue them but not the pilots so cant move on in my missions have to restart from scratch, Huron I had the downview camera at my disposal now that has gone just a black screen, please help, I am new to arma and not sure how to update if updates are available, Hope you can help, Regards

Probably a stupid question, but I'm doing the ocean rescue mission. My diver is in the water, I'm over them and the SL assistant shows everything green, but I can't get the rope to deploy to pick them up?

I've been using this in between my milsim missions and using AFM; its great a task based scenario, one which i highly recommend. I do however wish there were options for the Tanoa Map. I agree with S.Gordons comments adding the Vtols would be a cool and worthy move, also pick up diver missions are good, but i would like to see more tacticle insertions, pickups, extractions under fire, medvacs, and what not. Thats not to say im critiquing- just hoping to see code more balanced than pick up and drop off divers. Could you also include this type of vairiable to the a10/blackhawk and gryphon too? Something else actually ...instead of it being go to base get next task; which is fine, but giving time based orders such as - hold/ loiter over sryta for next missions (+ 2 mins loiter time) or patrol over molos until further instructions; or if jets patrol the island ... folling Alpha -3 (distance constraint from Alpha 3 - two cycles round island; boom then next task) etc..

Rolling all the helicopters into one mission is awesome, very nice work. For those who do enjoy the vanilla addons could you create this for Stratis and Tanoa as well please?

On Tanoa, it would be very cool to have both the option to fly the V-44 X Blackfish (transport) and the Y-32 Xi'an VTOL for troop insertions and such. (pretty please) :)

I played around with the RHS models for the first time last week and I really like them. I'd really like to make a RHS version when I've tidied up these others

I don't think it's on my end. I'm not sure how to set that but I will double check.

I am going to publish a preliminary build of the CUP: Altis version here in the next day or so. It is liable to be buggy, but I'll update it as I go. The dependencies are going to be CUP (required) and MELB (optional). I'll post the link when it goes live. It'll be a constant work in progress, so please let me know any bugs you encounter. Next step will be updating this version.

Are loading savegames disabled in mission or its on my end somehow?
I dont have an option to continue the mission after reloading the game even with doing multiple saves

Glad to hear from you again, I think that the ability to select mission type will be very welcome, I will certainly like it myself, sometimes the missions where too ramdom, from example: always get the ones like rescue on water but not the medevacs or extractions, I only saw a 4 to 5 times that kind of missions.

I'm back working again. Will release CUP soon, but these are some of the new features I'm currently working on, that I'll add to the regular version next:
- added enemy position markers at LZ on pickup. They are not always completely accurate by design.
-Medevac mission casualty survival is now linked to distance from hospital. I need to tweak settings a bit but if you fly fast enough your patients should now always survive.
-Ocean patrol missions are improved aesthetically. Next step is land patrol missions.
-ambient soldiers / vehicles added throughout map but I may add ability to switch some of this off to prevent lag
-LHD is a bit buggy but functional enough I hope.
-I'm considering adding an option to request specific mission type. Would be interested in opinions on this.

Unfortunately I have a lot of global variables that make conversion to multiplayer difficult, so I'm still not optimistic.

Gideon - I apologize, I got kind of burned out and have been busy at work, so I haven't worked on it for a couple of weeks. I need to do some debugging and I want to tweak the patrol missions to make them better, (and possibly adjust the medevac scenario so that saves are dependent on flying expertise), then I'll publish it.

Jackal - I like both your ideas. I think I might be able to do something with that.

I use this for any of my guys who want to learn to fly.
But now my crews are talking about doing some ground vehicle work. Has any one run into a Saint 4-1 style mission for tanks?

Thank you for this Scenario! This is exactly what I wanted to do but don't have the knowledge/skills to create. I have been playing this for several months now and thus far the missions are spot on, the randomness is great, and the actions at LZ with smoke being popped, etc. SUGGESTION: Any mission where troops are being picked up, the pilot must know if the LZ is hot and the direction from which the enemy is engaging BLUFOR so the flight plan doesn't fly directly over or anywhere too near the enemy.

Is it possible to have 2x or 3x aircraft fly a mission? For example, I am flying a transport to pick up a squad (or whatever) and a CAS helo provides security - OR - I fly the CAS helo providing the helo cover.

There is a bug where if opfor spawn near you at the mission start, they don't properly activate the trigger to shut off. I think I fixed it already for the next update, but I'll go back and check. Thanks for the feedback.

Well thought out and crafted scenario but I'm still frequently encountering AA defenses, even with no AA selected as a difficulty.

No, no multiplayer yet.
And 2 weeks was optimistic. The ambient life at the bases was creating excessive lag so I'm having to make it mission specific, which is time consuming. After that I need to get the LHD functional and then tweak a few of the missions, then I'll put out the CUP version.

-CUP soldiers will be included.
-I've also added the gunner camera with some modification - you have to have a gunner in the helicopter.
-I'm also going to have MELB models available if the mod is installed, but not a requirement.

Unfortunately on testing the added ambient life is causing lag but I think I can improve it by making them spawn more selectively. It will take a bit longer though.

Glad you are continuing your exellent job in developing this mission!

I have ideas that can improve the scenario in regards to attack missions.

Restrict kinds of targets per helicopter flown, for example if in the armed littlebird restrict the targets to cars or ifrits or engaging infantry and soft targets like trucks, and if for example you want to fly the blackfoot and kajman you can use the script in this link "https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/179924-open-the-helicopter-gunner-camera-as-a-pilot/" by champ-1.

The script lets you control gunner camera as pilot, while the helicopter remains stationary when using the gunner camera (at least in the second variant of the script). I tested the script before and works reasoably well, used in a few CUP vehicles like the AH1 and tested on the vanilla blackfoot too. Hope i helped.

In the next 2 weeks or so I should have an update with some added ambiance at the bases, civilian cars, and the occasional enemy technical on the roads :). Next I'll put out the CUP Altis version once the slingloading and fuel dump info is created for those helicopters, then the port to Tanoa will come next.

Any ideas you guys have to make it better, please chime in. I'm not thrilled with the attack helicopter missions but I'm not sure how to improve them. Also let me know if I can make it more user friendly when you first jump in, etc.
