Dead mod is dead
Alistar 2 Jul, 2016 @ 9:14pm
this actually could be removed with the remove missing mods mod.

Very dumb question: So this mod would allow m to use "XCOM Armor 0", for as long as I want in the game with each armor type (excluding the spider suit and exo suit)?

I just wannak now, because if that is true, I'd love to try it!

Please make a updated version of this mod compadable with Anarchy DLC. Just found this, darn I really like the idea of this mod. it's excatly what I was looking for. I'm sure someone might do it for you if you just ask on the forum for someone to update it if you don't have the time too
Ash 19 Mar, 2016 @ 4:03pm
Been using this mod since the day it came out, love it.

It would be amazing if it worked with Anarchy or there was an alternate version.
Rhalius 18 Mar, 2016 @ 8:00am
Can you please add the anarchy DLC options to this as well? Or as a seperate mod since not everyone has the DLC?
Angry Rope 17 Mar, 2016 @ 12:22pm
Any chance this will be compatible with the new Anarchy's Children DLC?
Sir George 22 Feb, 2016 @ 5:33am
I LOVE THIS MOD THANK YOU!!!!!!
Kerensky 20 Feb, 2016 @ 1:38pm
Always did enjoy the look of the default gear more than the mid and late game upgrades, nice mod!
ferret 19 Feb, 2016 @ 8:17am
Does this allow for Power Armour to look like Plated Armour (So Warden Armour looking like Predator Armour) as that would be awesome...or do you have a mod to do that?
Sirabot 18 Feb, 2016 @ 8:02am
I meant like creating custom icons for equippable armors that had these options biped with the same fuctionality as the resistance armor. To prevent scambles and people on the ship showing up randomized with no arms or legs. I however withdrawl what I said, because I sounded like an asshole and I'm sorry for that.
Ash 16 Feb, 2016 @ 8:41pm
This mod is great. IMO it would be improved by making the Predator looks available for the Warden armor. It seems odd to allow Warden to look like Kevlar but not Predator.
Exarch 15 Feb, 2016 @ 6:40pm
Omg, this is great! Is it possible to add the "Wraith" and "WAR" suits? (the extra suits you can use) also? :o
Jordzargo 15 Feb, 2016 @ 6:02am
is there any way to get "IIIGrimStyleArmorIII" parts for this mod? your mods would go soo well togeather. i with there was a way....
FreedomFighter 13 Feb, 2016 @ 1:38am
Using your mod as template and knowledge, i manage to swap Warith, and War suit to Spider, and Exo. But it would be better and more convenien to people with no knowledge of modding if you include them into your mod too.
Rhalius 10 Feb, 2016 @ 8:52am
Perhaps it could be added as a new fourth tier, despite it being the same strenght as plasma? If new tech can be added of course. That way it would be an optional replacement.
Doodil  [author] 10 Feb, 2016 @ 6:20am
Sadly guns don't offer any customization options. The only way would be to introduce new guns that have the effect of the higher tier ones but the looks of the conventional ones. Alternatively one could replace the high end weapon models with the old ones, but you won't be able to just chose a weapon model without changing the loadout, too.
Rhalius 10 Feb, 2016 @ 12:32am
I really like this mod, would it maybe be possible to make versions of the starting guns that are as powerfull as plasma and unlock at the same time as plasma weapons? To me the conventional guns just seem cooler, sound better and are just more satisfying to kill aliens with.
Rootbeer Safety Team 9 Feb, 2016 @ 6:00pm
Can you perhaps make the Predator armor items an option for warden armor?
ljsalty 9 Feb, 2016 @ 12:26pm
Can some one please upload these on the XCOM 2 http://www.nexusmods.com
Doodil  [author] 8 Feb, 2016 @ 1:25am
Uh, tell my what kind of UI you could imagine for that. The task was "more options for arms/legs/torso when using armor X", and what I did was exactly that. I don't see any reason to add another UI on top of that, when the menus for those options already exist.
Sirabot 8 Feb, 2016 @ 12:55am
I hope you realize that this can be done well, and it currently isn't. It's going to require UI adjustments rather than strictly ini file edits. While I'm happy to see the shared desire for these options. The execution is terrible.
GHOST of Meridia 7 Feb, 2016 @ 8:23pm
One of the best mods using the best armor (visual) for the whole game. Yay resistance pack!
Cynath 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:44pm
great mod, but yeah, could we get predator armor compatibility with warden and such please? it's aesthetically most pleasing to my eye.
As Seen On TV 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:24pm
YOU ARE A SAINT!
Dukhat 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:18pm
What "Sp3ct3r" said!
Sp3ct3r 7 Feb, 2016 @ 5:41pm
Any chance for E.X.O. suit skin options for W.A.R. suit and, maybe, kevlar/resistance for Spider and Wraith? ;P Special armors could use some love too, its a darn shame to switch badass EXOs for those fugly W.A.R. armors. :steamfacepalm:
Stratigamo 7 Feb, 2016 @ 4:21pm
I'm trying to make the civilian clothing available to soldiers. I got it to work, but I need a way to implement an arms and legs that show nothing. Any ideas how to having something like Arms 6 that shows no armor at all?
Siren System 7 Feb, 2016 @ 2:54pm
Does this work with the resistance pack?
Willow 7 Feb, 2016 @ 1:45pm
I think a cool idea would be to allow for Predator Armor cosmetics when using the Warden Armour, because, let's face it, Predator is the most awesome looking one.
aTiredHydra 7 Feb, 2016 @ 12:20pm
what ini file did you edit for this mod?
Kretus 7 Feb, 2016 @ 11:20am
Would it be possible to add in options from plated armor as well? and add options to the EXO suits?
Rasheke 7 Feb, 2016 @ 10:37am
Niice, say would you be able to do one for the Predator armor, having all armors appear with the predator skin that is.
TheOtherBarry 7 Feb, 2016 @ 10:16am
If you want to make the conventional weapons just as powerful just change the values in the WeaponData.ini file. The only thing that changes with the tech levels is the damage and the crit chance by 1. All of the XCOM weapon values you need are in the top of the list so no digging around in that file. A solution until a proper mod is made.
SergueiBorav 7 Feb, 2016 @ 10:10am
Thank you ! Just what i want !
Dobakjang 7 Feb, 2016 @ 9:44am
Do you have plan to make weapons like this addon, i'd like to keep using conventional weapon model :D by the way briliant work, thumbs up and definitely subscribe
A0 7 Feb, 2016 @ 9:23am
Was this soley a ini tweak? and if so which file did you edit?
aegof 7 Feb, 2016 @ 9:12am
This mod is good and necessary.
Rhalius 7 Feb, 2016 @ 8:59am
Great mod, now my soldiers can keep looking like resistance fighters!
Sgt. Sleepy Joe 7 Feb, 2016 @ 8:22am
Me love you long time for this. If you happen to read this any chance you can do the weapons as well? The Classic gear is by far my favorite and helps my immersion to the lore a bit more.
awcthug88 7 Feb, 2016 @ 7:48am
Awesome! I love the look of the standard kevlar armor in this game. Thanks a bunch.
FL4NKey 7 Feb, 2016 @ 7:35am
Put it on XCOM2 nexus also. People will love you for this ^^

@Drimilidrimdrim: ye, it would be awesome to have MKII and MKIII ballistics instead. I would use them even in that disadvantage, but only if we could have full 5 mods on them :( *cry
VaLe 7 Feb, 2016 @ 7:14am
Just what I always wanted!
Dobakjang 7 Feb, 2016 @ 7:01am
you are my day saver man, finally i can customize my troops as tacticool not this wet suits

thank you very much.
Ðrim 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:48am
Cool cheers! Will test it out later! Would it be possible to do the same with weapons? The conventional weapons are the coolest imo. Beam and plasma are only good stat wise but look shit. Sorry, dont want to be pushy here. :)
Doodil  [author] 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:41am
You can for example use the standard kevlar torso and the warden legs/arms at the same time.
A0 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:26am
COMBINE THEM? You mean on the prop drop down list for arms legs and torso, we could mix and match the armor?? Must Claify this
Doodil  [author] 7 Feb, 2016 @ 6:11am
It adds them to the list, you can still use the standard warden/predator armor or even combine them.
Ðrim 7 Feb, 2016 @ 5:48am
Does it add to the list or just reskin the warden/predator armor?
