I'm also not aware of any actual issues with this mod. Are you playing with WotC? If so, this mod does not support that expansion, which the launcher tells you.
well how do i upgrade
I've never been able to reproduce the issue so I have no way of fixing it, so I added the ability to disable that feature about a year ago.

As you can see, I get a soldier that I can't deselect and who overrides any soldier I have chosen in their slot. It's really, really frustrating, and doesn't seem to happen until I get to the first Retaliation Mission.
Soooo -- please try looking into this, BlueRaja.
I mean, this mod most likely doesn't have anything to do with that...or at least I don't think it changes anything concerning the spawns.
XCom and ennemies do spawn right next to the objective so it's a real mess since turn 1
and no i am not using the long war toolbox
Jeez i feel like an idiot now xD. I had indeed the long war toolbox installed. From the description i just thought it was just a library for modders and not an actual mod...
