If you're having trouble with this mod, you likely have a conflict (as I did). Apparently squad size related mods in particular are troublesome, although for me I had to disable everything else and unsub+resub to get it working again.

So it does work, but is conflict prone. Be warned.

whats funny is im getting different rolls already and was looking for the opposite of this mod. why my luck stat IRL gotta be zero with this RNG shit.

The mod seems to be active but it just REFUSES to Delete the RNG save files for certain saves... It just STOP WORKING!!

Could it be that this mod doesn't work in the alien hunter encounters? I'm facing the King Viper and cannot hit him regardless how many times I reload.

I believe it causes issues with hacking. I had to disable it to get through my first attempted hack.

A question- does this work with the "restart mission" button? I'm running Bronzeman honestly mostly to fight my savescumming urges, but if I let myself restart a misison due to legitimate bullshit the map and seed are identical- so even if I don't want to, I know a lot of what's coming.

(Would also like to clarify that it works with LW2)

This seems to work with LW2. Was re-loading saves during the first mission and htting targets that I missed.

this work with long war? i just set up a soldier in a flanking position of 4! different enemies, all high crit chance with 64% as the worst shot... save scummed it and they didn't hit any one of them!!! (this is before using this mod)

Im not sure this mod is working for me. I make a quick save just before taking a shot with a 67% hit chance. I reload the save three times and every time it misses with the exact same percentages (i have the extended information mod installed)

@Nowi is my wife. Console commands will help you.

MakeSoldierAClass “Prename Name” "Class" This will remove all ranks and make them the desired class.

Add “-allowconsole” to start up to allow console commands.

Hi good sir, would this mean that this would reseed the rng roll for class promotion? Because there are certain times when I end up pulling my hair out because I'm trying to get a certain custom character to promote into a certain class, but they keep ending up as Heavy no matter how many times I reroll.

@Halo_hero_44, There was a bug that was causing soldier to lose all of their perks. I've been trying to figure it out, but had no luck up to this point. Didn't want others to continue to pull the mod down with that bug in there.

so i dubscribed to this, enabled it on the launcher, tried with a couple different saves including both tactical mission and geoscape saves, yet nothing changes. Still the same outcome every time. am i missing something, or are there some known compatibility issues? i'm using "stop wasting my time" mod as well.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this mod. So many times throughout the series, I've gotten angry seeing that a "66%" chance to hit was predetermined and actually a 0% chance to hit. Now the numbers actually mean something. I couldn't find the game playable or enjoyable without this mod. Thank you! :steamhappy:

Thank you, I really can't understand why they removed this from the game when it was an option in the Enemy Within expansion of the first game.

Quick question - seeing talk of incompatibilities caused by overriding the ruleset file, will this mod work with others that affect the tactical and Avatar timers? No matter if so as I'd rather have truly random results and cope with not having enough time to do anything. Thought I'd check before trying as don't want to mess up my save games and cake is so much better when you can have it and eat it :o)

@BlueRaja I have six Sqadmembers, and tested out the savescum by loading a quicksave several time to see my soldier hit several loads and also miss several times. so something seems working

@Nyu210: That just breaks this mod instead of the other one. If they both edit the same file, there is no way to get them to both work. This is a limitation caused by the lack of an actual modding API in XCOM 2

nvm just seen that the savescum prevent any editing of sqadsize because of the override

EDIT: "Fixed" the conflict by unsubscribing to Max Squadsizefix and resubscribing so that it is loaded before/after (which way it works at XCOM only know it from TES games) SaveScum.
