Looks good to me... However the background should be the "Space Wolves" grey... Same colour as their chapter armor... Since basically they just had bare steel grey armor and slapped stuff on it xD
If the background is changed then it'll be perfect for the legion insignia :)

I've made two different alternate Space Wolf Legion flags and just wanted input on which you guys thinks is better, or if some colours are off. All feedback is welcome.

Aye, I was thinking of doing the pre-heresy thing but too many legions had similar colourings I found so I just stuck with the Legion naming to identify the original first foundings, but still using the current chapter colours that most people know. Successor Chapters will be appropriately named Chapters. For the flag though I'll recolour the two wolves as red and place that on a grey background if that's alright with you.

No worries, I don't mind the criticism, I don't know much about the Space Wolves so it definitely helps me learn more, I'm more of a Imperial Fists person. :)

Yeah it was the last suggestion because it's an actual flag, not an insignia... And would just look odd xD
I'd suggest using Grimnar's insignia as a legion one and just do Blackmane' as a Chapter one... It more or less would make sense xD
And no problem, sorry to bother with things like that though! :D

P.S. I'd actually use the wolves grey for background in the legion one since as a Legion wolves only were in steel grey, different colours came after heresy and such.

Ah yes, I see now, I'll work on an additional Space Wolves alternate flag just for you meticulous guys, I'll use the Logan Grimnar Insignia as you suggest while the chapter banner you linked just wouldn't fit with the other flag designs I have. Thankyou for your input :)

It IS Blackmane's Great Company and GW uses his to represent wolves in general xD
As far as the original legion insignia... no idea really, they always used different great company insignias. As close to a LEGION insignia you can get to is either Logan Grimnar's insignia or maybe even Erik Morkai's Company one... Mostly because Leman Russ always had his two wolves with him :D

You're right it does look very similar to Blackmane's great company lel, I was actually just following the main space wolves livery from the wiki page, is it possible for you to link me to a picture of the original Legion flag because I'm having trouble finding it.
If my flag really is wrong then I need to know, I can't soil the Emperor's name by giving his Legions incorrect flags D:

For now we'll just have to settle with following the colour scheme, I look forward to the day someone can put a SM into XCOM, I recall someone putting in the Heavy from TF2 so it's possible.

I can definitely do that, I'm going to finish off all the Legions and the Inquisition first and then once I'm done with that I'll be looking into doing requests for Space Marine Successor Chapters. :)

Could you possibly do a crimson fist flag in the future?

lol, I'm gunna learn how to apply the tattoos after I'm done with all the flags but the Space Marine armour will be a long ways off :P
