I'm using AML, the mod still doesn't show up in WotC.
aegis 5 Jan, 2021 @ 9:09pm

The Dutch Guy/Bramzter 5 Jan, 2021 @ 9:59am

Blaze 13 Sep, 2020 @ 4:23pm
@aegis, make sure you're using the Alternate Mod Launcher. The Default Launcher now refuses to even *attempt* to load Mods not created specifically for War of the Chosen, despite the fact that many of them work perfectly fine.
aegis 12 Jul, 2020 @ 6:04am
people say this is complatible with WOTC but it doesn't seem to show up
did an update fuck up the compatabilty?
Saryn 3 Jul, 2019 @ 2:46am
Is there a WOTC version?
Josua 17 Apr, 2019 @ 11:58pm
We need someone to redo the mod for the current version of the game.

Gantros 20 Oct, 2017 @ 9:34pm
For anyone interested, for a nice Old Man Zhang, I gave him an eyepatch, faceless facepaint, and a full burn scar (from Alien Hunter DLC).
Jorkie 5 Oct, 2017 @ 3:01am
Missing Zhang and Annette =(
Nasarog 10 Sep, 2017 @ 11:26am
Looking forward to it, and thanks.
MissingNo 8 Sep, 2017 @ 3:23pm
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Kaldin 8 Sep, 2017 @ 12:03pm
@Plumse: Short heads-up: If you do that, please upload it as an additional mod, so that people not yet playing WotC would still be able to use it.
Plumse  [author] 8 Sep, 2017 @ 11:17am
I currently don't have the dev tools installed on my PC, but if I have some spare time I might convert it. Making no solid promises, however :(
MissingNo 8 Sep, 2017 @ 6:14am
hey mate, would you update this for WOTC? should be fairly straightforward: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/6x3lfm/updating_your_mod_for_wotc/
Agamemnon 31 Aug, 2017 @ 4:21pm

TiggerTeaTime 29 Aug, 2017 @ 10:59pm

Is it possible to prevent random soldiers from having customized voice packs unless selected to have them manually?

Anyone have a Zhang face/cosmetics mod?
IllI 9 Aug, 2016 @ 4:34am
@Tapir Zhang is a Chinese first name obviously...
Bobby1Clip 8 Jun, 2016 @ 5:44pm
Tapir no its Chinese, Zhang is a Chinese name and in Xcom he appeared in the mission in China.
d_valroth 1 Jun, 2016 @ 5:52pm
Very unlucky, it was his favorite thing to say when I played.
Reya 29 Apr, 2016 @ 11:43pm
I have over 1400 hours in XCOM EU and not once has Zhang said "If they move they die" on overwatch. WTF?
Nasarog 7 Apr, 2016 @ 9:13am
So, this mod ads both Zhang and Annette?

Plumse  [author] 2 Mar, 2016 @ 1:31pm
Thanks, that's what the "Small Update" was for recently :) still, thanks for spreading the PSA!
IceMaverick 2 Mar, 2016 @ 12:06pm
Hey. I'm posting for broadcasting volume to mod authors I'm subbed to, in case this applies to you and you haven't yet fixed the Memory issues inherent to many mods due to a ModBuddy error: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/48c8v3/psavoicepacks_and_other_mods_to_a_lesser_extent/

Please double check if this bug in ModBuddy may apply to your mod to help modded X2 games run better.
Perogi Palooka 29 Feb, 2016 @ 9:30pm
Thanks for updating and decreasing the mod size.
JackieFox~ 24 Feb, 2016 @ 6:52pm
You are my hero, good sir. Thanks
JackieFox~ 24 Feb, 2016 @ 4:09pm
can we get a Peter Van Doorn voice pack plz <3
Plumse  [author] 21 Feb, 2016 @ 3:33pm
Hah, the gremlin fires a little jolt of electricity... an arc... arc thrower, get it? Sorry.

Yeah, I tried to tie in non-existing lines with new xcom 2 events as best as I could. Can perhaps fix it a bit later :D
Revenant 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:50pm
Good stuff!

Only minor complaint is 'Firing arc thrower!' when I use a gremlin hack.
Apathy 21 Feb, 2016 @ 7:52am
Hmm well this is unfortunate thank you anyway.
Plumse  [author] 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:42am
I honestly have no idea what could be causing that. The .upk file with the content is just wav files that have been rigged to play on events, moreover - they are files from the previous game, so they are 100% compatible. I haven't really noticed any loading time issues on my machine o: what could be different from other sound packs is that this one contains a lot more voice lines - that could be the issue?

It shouldn't be clashing with any other mods since it doesn't override any other class in the game... I honestly don't know :( it doesn't cause any slowdown for me at least, I'm sorry it does for you :/
Apathy 20 Feb, 2016 @ 10:46pm
Seems to me your voice packs on both Annette and this one is causing a significent loading time
So I simply tested by unsubbing the two and my game loads once more faster and I do have A LOT of mods so any insight here?
Plumse  [author] 20 Feb, 2016 @ 4:06pm
The process is quite annoying. First, you need to find the voice files in the XCOM EW folders, secondly, you need a "UPK Extractor" (google it!), extract all the .SoundNodeWave files into a separate folder. Afterwards, I used a program called "oggextract" (also google!) to convert SoundNodeWave files into .ogg files. Next, I used an online audio converter to convert all .ogg files (Zhang had like 400 files/lines) into .wav format. Then just followed a Voice Pack guide. There could be a more optimal way to do it - but that's how I figured it out, hope it helps!
ObelixDk 20 Feb, 2016 @ 3:59pm
Is there any chance of sharing how you pulled the voice files? I wasent able to do it
Mertius 20 Feb, 2016 @ 2:33pm
Oh, you are Amazing!!! I've had a terrible time trying to find some way to get his voice back! Thank you so much!!
